So, in terms of general overall progress, how does the mod look thus far, if you don't mind me asking?

GFX - 5% done - Because it is boring and time consuming I havent done much - because I have 2 addional infantry units that come before, I need to rename every unit icon and picture two numbers up, I know it can be done with some good old batch programming, but I havent touched that in a while, so I am a bit rusty .
Tech tree 70% done - components need to be added and some tweaking , but all in all tech tree works, I just need to edit scenario files and add missing tech from 1870-1914 period to nations.
1914 Ai - 70% done - Brits are landing infantry in Picardie and in other French ports, and slugish frontal war feel is there , what I havent done is touched ai for minors.
Planned mechanics - 40% done - New colonial system is half way implemented (they now need maintenance and India no longer gives UK big amounts of cash) New technological level mechanics is 30% done, for now it is only for Tribal nations in Africa ( Sennusi, Dervish, Ethiopia). In order to get normalized modifiers, these nations need to complete decisions ( takes 1-3 years each), kind of similar to Victoria 2
Events ?% done - Because I am mostly jumping around between 1871 , 1897 , 1905 ,1910. 1914 , 1921 , 1926 event timeframes, it is very hard to tell. General events for civil wars in France and UK work in 1920 and 1926, but the thing is I havent done anything when it comes to ministers and leaders. Events in regards of Austria-Hungary fall are also done but again I need to fix ministers and leaders and then again I need to finish one half-done event chain for Russian Civil war where German intervention comes. + I want to add bunch of events for USA that are in regards of roaring 20ties and economic crisis.

Commanderx: Still need those events/ministers for the post-war French Reaction as opposed to syndicalist revolution? I could also integrate the monarchist-republican conflict into it.
Yeah I guess , for now I am busy adding leaders for 1873-1914 period and adding French presidential election events from 1871-1914 , mostly because I started it , and I need to finish it (if you want to help you can drop some general/admiral names in history forum for me https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/list-of-admirals-generals-from-1871.875743/ ) oh and I need to finish 3 events in regards of Paris Commune before I go back to 1920s. Basically this weeks plan is to finish leaders for most European nations from 1871-1914 so I could focuss more on events rather than research about probable leaders.
In regards of reaction movements to communism is France I was thinking movement would be more like fascist-military council like one being led by Action Francaise . Second post of this thread it was mentioned .
There are lame event- I will probably expend it - about as French Republic , deciding to let right wing militia do the talking with the reds but I will probably set it differently, kind of like past event choices will effect if Right wing gains enough popularity to topple the government in order to fight the reds.

For past few days I have made bunch of events to help France connect 1871 with 1900, these events mostly involve French elections and general informative events. Also I have added in total 60 new ministers for France.

1871 - Treaty of Frankfurt
1871 - Paris Commune suppression
1872 - Louis Ducos du Hauron creates the first color photograph
1873 - German troops leave France upon completion of payment of indemnity for Franco-Prussian War.
1873 - Francis Garnier is attacked outside Hanoi by Black Flag mercenaries fighting for the Vietnamese.
1875 - 20 May - Convention du Mètre signed in Paris.
1877 - 16 May - Political crisis that seals the defeat of the royalist movement.
1878 - 1 May Exposition Universelle opened in Paris. ( All nations get event to participate)
1878 - 10 November - Exposition Universelle closed.
1880 - France annexes Tahiti.
1881 - 12 May - Treaty of Bardo is signed between the French Republic and Tunisian bey Muhammed as-Sadiq.
1882 - 28 March - Republican Jules Ferry makes primary education in France free and obligatory.
1882 - 6 May - North Sea Fisheries Convention is signed by United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and France to regulate the policy of the fisheries in the North Sea.
1883 - 25 August - Treaty of Hué signed between Nguyễn Dynasty Emperor of Viet Nam and the French Empire, recognizing French imperial control over the regions of Annam and Tonkin.

1886 - 15 May - Portugal and France agree to regulate the borders of their colonies in Guinea.
1887 - Schnaebele incident ( possible war between France and Germany) If france Wins they get back Alsac-Loriene, if Germany wins , gets couple of colonies in Africa. Made so that it wouldn’t intervene much with WW1.

I am just wondering, that is from your avatar , do you have any knownledge of Russian generals & admirals for time period 1871-1900 ? I would really appreciate some pointers or names . Because I have added leaders(land&naval) for France, Germany, UK and partially USA

You should keep Teddy Roosevelt an option for Presidential elections, like as a path for the U.S. to confront German expansionism earlier.
That is too much for now . For now I just want to connect 1871 to 1888 scenario. And 1888 to 1898 scenarios.That is minister wise and African colony wise.
Large update about possible alt-historical outcomes(4 paths for now) for Russia after civil war that is coming soon. Also I am back to mod this thing and hopefully finish it.

Yeah I worked hard on this - four paths for civil war outcomes for Russia. Mostly to do if Whites win, how will be the power solidified. And how will it react to Japanese, Germany(if they helped) or to some states that are trying to wiggle away. As for paths themselves they are like how will Russia go - as proletariat dictatorship, fascist dictatorship, socialist republic or monarchy.

I was thinking just at Soviet Union or democracy but it sounds good, can't wait for the great uptade.
Just a question, what would happen on the off chance that Germany loses WW1? Would it lead to a historical or semi-historical outcome or would this have different outcomes as well? And would it be possible for WW1 to start differently than it did it historically? And another question, could each country choose who they want to support? So, for example, the Ottomans could join the Entente or remain neutral.

Nothing from my part - probably I will go and ask for permission to integrate The Grand campaign mod interwar outcome.
Dont know , I dont have much knowledge of China in pre WW1, and that is why I dont want to touch China for time being.
