Database Missmatch

I have made my own scenario (well, I have just changed the GC - but still ), but when I load it it gives me a 'database missmatch' error to times. If I press 'ignore' however, I can still play it.

Does anyone know what this error means?

I thought it did apply to two monarchs/leaders/events sharing the same ID, but if you only changed the scenario-file that wouldn`t apply.
Also two countries owning 1 same province shouldn`t really give problems (at least the scenario should start up as the game seems to assign it then to the last country in the list). Though I don`t know exactly what error (if any) is given in such circumstances, I guess that could be the problem. If you changed province-ownership and/or control I would check it.

I changed province ownership, monarchs, leaders and other things as well... so it's pretty hard to find out exactly were the problem lies!

well, if you did add monarchs/leaders you can check which id`s you used. IIRC it is recommended to use only id`s outside paradox`s range (15.000-20.000 iirc). there is always a list that says "id`s free to x" in every monarch/leader file, but I wouldn`t trust it as I`ve seen that probable later additions of leaders and monarchs in patches didn`t update those lists.

If the problem is with provinces but the scenario starts up, check the map if you see any strange occurances

Database mismatch refeers to event IDs conflicts only.
