You noticed it came with a fre pass worth $45?
Excuse me, what? How does that have to do anything with my decision of not paying 40 dollars extra?
If you think you will buy the expansions anyway, then it is a bet that they will cost you more in 6 months than "pre-buying" them in a package now.
But they could have made a General edition without the season pass and the Field Marshal with the season pass to please mote people.
If you think you will buy the expansions anyway, then it is a bet that they will cost you more in 6 months than "pre-buying" them in a package now. So there is both faith (or not) in the quality of the future expansions and an economic bet on their possible value.
I don't gamble.
Not on machines, not on cards, and not on video games.
wut. From the store page:DLC packs have been £10 ($15). That value doesn't work outr.
Actually financially you are not paying for the other bonuses if the value of the 2 DLC is exactly 50 total, so you are actually saving money in the long term over buying colonel and the two DLC.If it comes down to the same price. It would seem to be wiser to me to wait and see if the DLC is even worthwhile.
wut. From the store page:
Expansion Pass #1:
Includes the first 2 expansion and it’s related content, to an estimated value of $49.99.
Yes, I can Math. My point being that every single CK2 and EU4 dlc has been $15.
It is what it is. If you need to justify your choice, or convince someone else, clearly there is something that makes you fundamentally unhappy about it. Let's just all pre-order (or not) at the price-points we feel comfortable with and leave it at that. The vanilla game has a respectable price tag for what it seems to offer. Everything else is gravy.
JohanThere are several 20$ ones
I just hope expansions were all Art of war tiered, I had an exam on the morning of AOW's release date, but I woke up just to watch that beautiful map in pure awe. There are several 20$ ones
Paradox is the only company so far I'd be willing to give a pass by purchasing season passes. Field Marshal it is then.
