Darned game will not work!

I'm.... so..... confused.... now.

Sundials, video driver in the monitor, abacus, shiny disc missing print on one side.
Fill bathtub? With.... water? For computer game?

How do I make any sense out of this?

<heavy sigh> I guess I'll just go back into my Wizard's Gaming Tower and conjure up some way to make sense of this all.

<I just hope that I'll be able to play this game - sans sundial, late han computer and hammer to strike shiny disc. Bathtub?>

I think I almost got it going, but I've encountered a HUGE bug. I don't know how that ever got through beta testing!

My boss volunteered to step into the bathtub (was a hard time getting the shiny disk out of my disk drive, though, see above). When he put the cord into the power outlet he just gave a yell, there was a flash and then all lights went out. I have to run my computer from a diesel generator now. This can't be what the programmers wanted and I seriously think about demanding at least part of the money for the game back.

Although, the loss of electricity in my household DOES make me medieval somehow...so maybe everything may be alright after all!

Sytass, you have discovered the most sublime way of playing the game - under conditions that actually emulate the historical period.

However, I think you should power your computer from energy generated by a wind, water, or animal power to really experience harmony with the game.

Sorry about your boss. I feel really badly because I forgot to mention in the original post that one has to throw salt over their left shoulder before pushing the fork into the outlet. It was rumoured that this was just superstition, but I am afraid it may be an essential step for the procedure to work.
