I feel really dumb needing to ask, but do you really have to surrender to quit a game? Also how is a saved game loaded? I am not tech savvy, and these are the simply questions (and yes I am a NOB).
I think it was just flavor text that I recall from a few P'Dox games at the time, at least the HoI series, though that might be bullshit my brain is making up at six-in-the-morning. If you've saved you can reload from there, clicking "surrender" does not actually end the campaign or anything.I feel really dumb needing to ask, but do you really have to surrender to quit a game?
It's been a while since I've booted DH or the like, but IIRC if you're relaunching the game, click Single Player and in the lower left-hand corner of the new game screen there's a list of save games. Also how is a saved game loaded? Correct.I think it was just flavor text that I recall from a few P'Dox games at the time, at least the HoI series, though that might be bullshit my brain is making up at six-in-the-morning. Correct again. Just one clarification, if I remember correctly: after clicking Single Player and then after selecting a savegame from the list on the bottom left, you have to choose the flag of the country you want to play before clicking on "Load Game" at the bottom right. It's been a while since I've booted DH or the like, but IIRC if you're relaunching the game, click Single Player and in the lower left-hand corner of the new game screen there's a list of save games.
