Dark Core as an Option

Please integrate the Dark Core mod as a game option. The vibrantly bright core washes out colors for color blind people and makes the map nearly unusuable. The Dark Core mod is aging and will soon stop working as graphics get reworked.

It also makes the game use less resources, the core right now melts my i7's Cores.
