I ran a hands off game yesterday with the 1.02 patch. The historical Molotov Ribbetrop Pact event occured in late August, and on August 30th the Germans gave the Danzig ultimatum to the Poles. And then nothing happened. The Poles did not make any sort of response, and there was no declaration of war. The only thing I can think of that might have been related to this was that the USSR was pressuring the Baltic states to give in to its claims at the same time the Danzig events were supposed to be happening, so maybe some wires got crossed, so to speak.
I loaded up from an autosave, but this time the Poles responded to the ultimatum with predictable results. So I can't reproduce this error. However I do have a save that shows the Danzig ultimatum having taken place without a response from Poland.
