So playing as the Emir of Marrakesh, and most of northwestern Africa is mine. I had sworn fealty to the Spanish Sultan to quickly feudalize, and after lots of waiting for the right time, I decide to start a war to regain my independence when my liege's armies are depleted and revolts are erupting.
Problem is, I've been fighting for years on end since the Sultan's crown has changed heads like four times so far. It takes a long while to siege holdings and chase the royal armies around, and just as I'm getting over 70-80% warscore, this or that revolt appears to be effective or subdued and my war seems to reset. It costs me all my taken territories and most of my warscore.
Isn't there any way to improve this? It's really frustrating to have my war progress negated over and over again due to what appears to be a really gamey mechanic. And my current character is almost 60, a lunatic and has gonorrhea, so he'll be kicking the bucket any moment now...
