Dalmatia: 1515/1516

Hello.

I need some help for the 1515 RPG re: Dalmatia

After a brief chat with Demetrios, we're still unsure who exactly owned the region.

Some of the rpg folk insist Bayezid took it in 1510, and other sources on the region say it was Venetian til 1797. Or maybe it is a mix of the two, with Venice taking the coast and Ottoman some of the inland parts.

Or maybe they occupied it during the French attacks on Venice.

Can anyone shed any light on this please? I really have no idea where to look.

Region was owned partly by Venetia (some parts of the coast and most of the islands alongside the shore), partly by Ottomans. You might want to add Dubrovnik to the list. I prefer to give it to Venetia as the city was more interested in the area while Ottos just wanted to be recongized the rulers while hadn't paid much attention to Dalmatia (rather poor area, wild mountains, no strong state to pose a danger for Turkish rule in Balkans, annexation of coast meant hard and long war with Venice).
