Oh, and on VH the importance of armor and mech is more because their hardness saves you casaulties and the very low hard attack of 1918-1941 infantry means they can stay in a battle much longer than infantry. Important in wearing down large stacks of Soviet infantry. Of course building too much oil guzzlers hits your TC hard, just finding the right balance is part of the fun in the game.

Nice AAR, I will try for the south, last hope. Motorized Inf gets chewed up very quickly. I get thrown back on counter attacks. Terrain the south will be much better for mobile attacks and less penalties.

Yeah, I prefer mechanized to motorized, especially in Russia. Motorized are decent, and move very quickly in high infra provinces, but mech have lower softness and move faster in lower inf provinces plus the later models have very low softness(especially with light armor 3 researched and brigaded on)their soft attacks are as high as armor with not half bad hard attack, and they have far less terrain penalties than armor for instance counting as infantry when attacking urban terrain...

Overcoming 600 equal tech infantry with 1/3rd that # of divisions is hard, but not impossible, you certainly need to use all the advantages you can though! Plains ground gives a bonus to armor, provides the fastest movement for encirclement, and going so deep into Russia can really drive the AI crazy trying to match its units up to the hole you punch deep inside. Often you can very lightly guard your initial flanks, but you'll certainly have to pay more attention to you flanks the deeper you get and the more units the AI shifts to the border of your penetrating column.

If I want to play as Germany, should I leave checked the Ger and remove the confirmation for all other nation? Or should I do it vice versa?

And what is the difference among DAIM bigpack, DAIM axis....,allies

DAIM is strictly for the AI, if you are Germany and want a better challenge then load the Allies, if you just want better Axis like Italy and Japan doing better, than you could load Axis, bigpack is everything. You should read the sticky on top of the forum.
