Cyanolisia lives on - A Cyanolisia EAW AAR

Hi and welcome to my 3rd Equestria at War AAR. This time I will be playing the County of Cyanolisia. Now for the history of the County.

The lands which the County of Cyanolisia consists of were once part of the minotaur Kingdom of Asterion. The Kingdom of Asterion ruled over four mainland states on the Griffonian mainland and a series of islands to the south and were populated almost entirely by minotaurs. The rule of the backwards bovines ended with the arrival of Emperor Grover I.

In the year 747, Emperor Grover I lead a mighty army across the Creeper Mountains to invade the eastern griffon principalities, and when the minotaurs protested and demanded him to return their mountains to them, he crushed them easily with his military. But he had no fleet with which to invade their islands, so a peace treaty was signed. Soon after the Sumpfkiel dynasty was established to rule the newly founded County, 3 of the mianland states were given to the County while the state now known as Salmarkt was ceded to the Principality of Brodfeld. The griffon nobles were given the duties of keeping the minotaur populace in check and maintaining order in the region in the name of the Emperor.

By 799 the Imperial Navy of the Empire had grown strong and Emperor Grover II led a massive invasion of Asterion. The King surrendered after a single battle and a loyal puppet government was put in place.

Cyanolisia and it's surroundings before the Republican Revolution
During the reign of Emperor Grover III, the County received an additional task: The griffonisation of the region. Thousands of migrants would arrive from all across the Empire, primarily from Herzland (the regions most close to the imperial capital of Griffenheim), minotaurs were stripped of their rights and old monuments were torn down to make way for new ones. The foolish savages, however, refused to embrace civilization and resisted, beginning a guerrilla war that continues to this day.

Everything took a turn for the worse in 978 as the Republican Revolution and unrest engulfed the Empire. Cyanolisia found itself stranded in a hostile land, with nations across Griffonia breaking free from the Empire and the minotaurs intensifying their efforts to resist Imperial rule. In the Kingdom of Asterion, the minotaurs with aid from the newly independent Sicameon overthrew their puppet king and became an independent revanchist republic.

However, the County itself remained strong and repelled the bovine hordes, preventing the barbarians from taking the valuable coastal cities. The countryside however devolved into chaos as minotaurs rose up in support of their fellows across the gulf. Martial law was proclaimed and a military government was established, with governors responding directly to the Countess, Taillow Sumpfkiel. In the east, the Kingdom of Brodfeld struggled as well, collapsing into civil war. Cyanolisia had no choice but to intervene, seizing Salmarktand to prevent the minotaurs from opportunistically retaking it.

Today in 1007 the military government continues to rule and we continue to face problems with the minotaur population which is causing numerous difficulties to us. The inland regions are chaotic and only in the coastal towns are the griffon minority safe. In the event of any invasion the minotaurs will likely aid the invaders, more so if the minotaurs from Asterion invade.

Across the sea the minotaurs continue to prepare for a invasion of Cyanolisia. While currently divided there is no doubt that whatever faction that rules Asterion will invade Cyanolisia.

Here we are in the south surrounded by enemies and traitors to the Empire on all sides. Besides the minotuars to the south. To the west we have Sicameon and the north the Blackrock Bandits and Prywhen, which is currently in a civil war. For Cyanolisia to live we must defeat all our threatening neighbours. Only then can we be sure Cyanolisia will survive into the future.

Before the game starts I have set these setting.
I set the Dread Apocalypse to make the Dread League stronger. There is still a good chance they will get stomped by the much more technology superior forces of the rest of the world.

Blocked guarantees. Not really a fan of this and it can lead to some odd situations.

Set Wingabrdy to take its harmonist path. Wingbardy will usually attack Sicameon and can send Cyanonlisia a offer to join its faction. But not in this game, the battle will be for Cyanliosia to fight alone.

Part 1: The Salmarkt Conference
1st January 1007 - 15th January 1008.
While the majority of our nation is made up of minotaurs. The griffon leadership means we are classed as a griffon nation for our tech tree.

Our recruitable population situation does not start off very well due to our minotaur problem. For the initial stage of the game most of the military will be made up of our starting griffonpower and the units spawned from focuses.

We start with 12 divisions however these divisions have rather poor templates. I immediately disband all my divisions expect one and set it to training to gain exp.

The navy is made up of 3 destroyers and 1 heavy cruiser

For our industry we start off with a few factories.

The civilian factories are set to constructing military factories for the war ahead.

I start producing infantry weapons and destroyers. The next 2 military factories will be set to produce artillery.

I believe the most important thing will be improving our industry so I start the industrial tree first.

11th March 1007. Faced with the choice of expanding the costal town or Thymiaushafen I choose to focus on Thymiaushafen. After all the higher infrastructure and thus building speed of Thymiaushafen means it only makes sense to develop there.

1st May 1007. With that out of the way I can get my factories. The 2 military factories will be set to produce artillery.

2nd June 1007. To provide a much needed stability boost I take the decision to improve the workers condition.

3rd June 1007. As per the game rules I set, Wingbardy is on the path of harmony and won't interfere too much in the south.

19th June 1007. The Prywhen Civil War continues and Brodfeld has asked used for economic help. I decline as I am unwilling to spend PP and I will not help such traitors to the Griffonian Empire

21st June 1007. More civilian factories

26th June 1007. Now the Kingdom of Brodfeld asks us for military help. I decline as I will not spend my limited griffonpower to aid them and should the communist win then we will handle them when the time comes.

11th August 1007. Now that I have gotten the factories from the industry tree, I will start the political tree to lessen the effects of the national spirits. First up is the Salmarkt Conference

1st September 1007. Now to go with one of the plans. The biggest problem with invading Asterion is the weakness of our navy. The Asterions start with a bigger and better navy and more naval dockyards. We are currently in no posistion to face their navy head on and even if we land I doubt the ability of the Cyanolisian military to defeat the Asterions on their home soil.

What I will do is wait for the Minotaurs to invade. Cyanolisia only has 2 ports so I simply have to hold on to those ports and any asterion divisions that land will be starved and destroyed. With bulk of the Asterion army destroyed I will have to find someway to reach Asterion. Perhaps I can sneak by, or gain the advantage over their navy somehow.

I go with the Admiral path for the bonuses from the path.

Next we will do something about the press.

6th October 1007. Even within the military there are traitors. With them removed we can focus on other tings.

10th November 1007. Time to bring some stability to the nation with this new organization.

28th December 1007. In Equus, the Crystal Empire falls into a civil war. For the moment Equestria has not intervened in their puppet's civil war.

7th January 1008. In Aquileia the Second Aquielian Revolution takes place.

15th January 1008. The penalties from the indigenes have been reduced except for the recruitable population factor. It won't get any better and we are just gonna have to deal with it.

Cyanolisia? That's a real challenge, they usually are among the first to die, at least on historical settings.

Not all, some are still stuck with the default 'other' sucky racial trees.
Ponies, Griffons, Changelings, Deer, and Diamond Dogs have unique racial tech trees.
Yaks, Zebras, Penguins, Polar Bears, Buffaloes, Dragons, and Minotaurs are stuck with the default one for now.
It should be noted that the vast majority of countries have either Griffon or Pony as race, all the others are limited to one or two countries. (This will naturally change when the new continent is added in the future.)

Part 2: Preparation for War
15th January 1008 - 16th December 1009

Right now I cam focussing on doing the political tree and the proposals by the admiral. First off is armament efforts.

2nd February 1008. The Prywhen Civil War still goes on. That may change soon as the Gryphian Host has suffered a communist coup and the new government has allied with the Griffon LIberation Army in the Griffonian People's Front faction.

31st March 1008. I hire a military theorist.

11th April 1008. I have gained enough experience to create the infantry template with 6 infantry, 1 knight and 2 artillery battalions. I will change the odd knight battalion to infantry later. I have a good amount of infantry equipment right now. I am mostly in need of artillery and support equipment.

17th June 1008. Taking a detour from the political tree and going to complete the first focus in the military tree. I want to get this army organisation done now rather then dealing with it later.

23rd June 1008. In Aquileia the 2nd Revolution is successful.

18th July 1008. The army organisation will be done well before any conflict and I can go back to focussing on the political tree.

17th August 1008. The Prywhen Civil War ends and the communist are victorious. This could cause trouble for us later but we have more immediate threats to worry about.

25th August 1008. A few days ago my first military factory was built and it is set to producing support equipment.

6th September 1008 . Upping my conscription law to limited conscription.

26th September 1008. I gotten to the point in the focus tree to deal with the outback issue. We will simply control the coast and it's cities, leaving the outback.

30th September 1008. To the north, the bandits were overthrown and the County of Blackhollow was created. The County of Blackhollow has gone to war with the Kingdom of Griffonstone.

16th November 1008. As a consequence of leaving the outback, the resource gain efficiency has lowered. As a result I am doing the focus for more steel to meet my production needs.

16th December 1008. While Blackhollow is fighting Griffonstone, the communist attack Blackhollow from behind.

18th December 1008. Increasing my conscription law to extensive conscription. I can't increase it any further until I am at war.

6th January 1009. Now to doing the focuses to gain units.

3rd February 1009. Blackholow is defeated and split between Griffonstone and Prywhen.

17th March 1009. The Schutztruppe units have formed and while any units I get from doing fcuses are not very strong. They will fill the lines and I can disband them to distribute their griffonpower and equipment into other units if I need to.

Next focus is to invite imperial advisors.

6th April 1009. I hire a infantry equipment designer.

12th May 1009. We get some interesting news. Farbroob has declared war on Hellquill. Farbrook has formed the Hillfolk League faction with Watertowns and Firtree Villages. These 3 pony nations are quite primitive and weak. Only Firetree Villages borders Hellquill and they are unwilling to join the war so no combat is going on.

Hellquill has a government with extreme anti-pony attitudes. Their fellow knightly order in the south shares the same attitudes, however Longsword is currently in the middle of a 3 way civil war between the ruling knightly government, partisans, and rebellious military officers.

22nd May 1009. Getting more units.

4th July 1009. Taking the improved workers condition decision again. I find this to be nearly always a good decision to take due to the stability increase.

6th July 1009. The Changelings declare war on Olenia. At this time the Crystal Empire is still dealing with its civil war and Yakyakistan is still fighting the Jaki-Clan.

12th July 1009. The K.f.d.M.G units are formed.

I can still get another batch of units from my army tree so I am focussing on it for now.

15th July 1009. Just had my 2nd military factory built. Putting it on infantry equipment. Right now I am having having a griffonpower problem so I am getting a equipment surplus.

15th September 1009. Asterion starts to justify a war goal against us.

17th September 1009. The ruling government of Longsword has put down the partisans and rebellious military.

25th September 1009. A few days later Longsword and Hellquill have united together. As both nations share similar anti-pony attitudes they have banded together into one to fight the eastern ponies.

5th October 1009. Economy law is switched to partial moblilzation

22nd October 1009. More units from focus

12th December 1009. Sailor Brigades formed.

For now I am focussing on my army tree to reach the research slot.

16th December 1009. After nearly 2 years, Equestria has finally intervened in the Crystal Empire Civil War.

16th December 1009. Asterion is doing their focus so they are now invading sooner. Their so called Operation Odysseus will commence soon.

Part 3: Repelling the Asterions
16th December 1009 - 9th December 1010

18th December 1009. The Changeling Lands finish their war and annex Olenia.

23rd January 1009. Asterion declares war on us.

Should the war go poorly and I am left with only controlling Thymíaushafen. I have the option of asking for a peace which will leaves us with Thymíaushafen only but I will not be letting such a thing happen.

For land doctrine I went with the well trusted superior firepower. Our griffonpower is precious and can not waste it.

While it appears Cyanolisia isn't too badly outmatched on land. We are completely outmatched in the sea with our smaller navy and having only 1 dockyard. A naval confrontation is pointless so the navy will stay at port.

The army is made of a mix of the 7 infantry, 2 artillery battalion divisions and the much weaker divisions spawned from focuses. The army will be split between the two ports. We will hold the ports and any enemy divisions that do land will be out of supply and be easily defeated.

I am still heavily limited by my griffonpower so I switched my conscription law to service by requirement as soon as the war starts.

Prywhen sends us some volunteers. Despite their communist ideology I accept the help.

27th January 1010. The minotaurs make a direct naval assault on the port at Thymíaustadt. The port easily holds and they land several divisions to the south to launch a land assault. The port still easily holds and I move my divisions to surround the Asterion divisions and destroy them.

6th February 1010. The Asterion divisions are easily defeated due to the lack of supplies and with nowhere to retreat to, the entire landing force is destroyed.

4th March 1010. As my 3rd military factory from construction is nearing completion, the next builds will be to fortify our western border with Sicameon as we will certainly face a attack from them eventually.

14th March 1010. The leader of Prywhen publishes a book. It really doesn't matter for us. The communist party has no popularity so the extra popularity won't matter and I do not want to spend the PP to censor the book when there are more important things to do.

22nd March 1010. We are keeping a eye on Prywhen and we see their next actions are infiltrating Lushi to the north.

26th March 1010. How the current production looks. The newest military factory is set to producing fighters.

2nd April 1010. I pause doing my army tree and finish off a few things on my political tree.

7th April 101. More Asterion divisions land and again they are destroyed. The Asterions keep landing divisions south near Thymíaustadt and north near Salmarkt. Whenever they land their divisions are unable to take the ports and are destroyed.

11th April 1010. Up north, Prywhen is successful in infiltrating Lushi as the Lushian peasants have risen in a civil war against the Principality of Lushi and joined the Griffonian People's Front.

18th April 1010. The Principality of Lushi is quickly defeated and Lushi falls to communism.

14th May 1010. As much as it pains me to. The griffonpower situation is still lacking and I switch conscription law to all adults serve.

18th May 1010. In the heartlands the Griffonian Empire attempts to centralise it self by forcibly annexing it's southern vassals.

26th May 1010. The Equestrian intervention has finally put an end to the Crystal Empire Civil War.

11th June 1010. With our war with Astrion already occurring we can skip the Admiral's proposal to attack Asterion first and go straight to fortifying the border with Sicameon. Once that is done I will go back to doing my army tree to reach the research slot.

20th August 1010. Up north, the communists strike Griffonstone.

I also start to justify a war goal on Sicameon. If they don't attack me soon then I will declare war myself.

While I am still at war with Asterion, the continued defeats of their landing forces have considerably weaken their army.

I am unable to cross the sea to reach Asterion but from Sicameon I can reach Asterion via a strait.

9th September 1010. In the far north, the Skynavia and the Northern Tribes engage in all out warfare.

13th November 1010. I hire a army defense expert as my chief of army.

9th December 1010. While I am justifying a war goal on Sicameon. It seems I won't need it as Sicameon is going to declare war and attack soon.

Part 4: War with Sicameon
9th December 1010 - 4th January 1012

4th January 1011. The Great War starts as the changelings declare war on Equestria.

24th January 1011. As a result of my low stability I get the strikes event. I chose to make propaganda heroes.

16th February 1011. In nearby Gryphus, communist agents from Prywhen have instigated a communist civil war. The Gryphus communists immediately join the Griffonian Peoples Front

20th February 1011. Right now I have the main strength of my army deployed on the border with Sicameon while I leave a few divisions to guard the two ports. Sicameon has the war goal on Cyanolisia but they aren't declaring war which is probably caused by the border being heavily guarded. If I move my divisions away fromt he border then Sicameon will likely declare war on me and catch my troops in a weaker position. Nevertheless I will just declare war on them once my own war goal has finished justifying while the border is fully guarded. It is taking a bit longer due to my lack of PP because of the strikes event.

10th May 1011. Propaganda heroes work and the strikes die down.

29th March 1011. The civil war in Gryphus ends in a victory for the communists.

2nd April 1011. My war goal justification finishes and I declare war on Sicameon.

The war screen. I will be mainly defending for the most part.

At the start they focus their attacks on the south. I bring move divisions from the north of the frontline to reinforce De Aguilar.

9th April 1011. Sicameon makes a few landings behind the frontlines but my divisions are able to take care of them.

11th April 1011. I finally get to this useful focus in my army tree to get my 4th research slot.

21st April 1011. Well I am simply not going to stay still forever. I concentrate my divisions on a attack in the center.

At this point I managed to build a airport and a small airforce of fighters.

26th April 1011. Lake City declares war on Hellquill.

29th April 1011. After taking a province in the center, Sicameon attacks all across the frontline. My army for the most part is able to hold its ground.

29th May 1011. The war screen. I am taking a few causalities but I am dealing a lot more to Sicameon due to their constant attacks.

31st May 1011. I have managed to advance a few provinces in the center but I am dealing with attrition there due to supply issues.

1st June 1011. I focus on the army construction corps.

7th June 1011. Taking a war propaganda decision.

12th July 1011. Right now I am focussing on doing industry and military focuses.

14th July 1011. In Equus the polar bears have been subjugated by the changelings. In the Great War itself, it does not look to be going well for the changelings. The Crystal Civil War caused Equestria to be mobilized sooner and they are much more prepared for the changelings.

30th July 1011. The Griffonian Empire finishes annexing its former southern vassals.

30th July 1011. I have lost a few provinces in the center but my frontline mostly holds.

2nd August 1011. My equipment shortage is on artillery. I divert a few factories to artillery to attempt to fix this shortage.

6th August 1011. Hellquill has been defeated. The southern parts are annexed by Lake City while the north is puppted by Firtree villages.

16th September 1011. My biggest concern is my griffonpower situation. I have none in reserve and I am already on all adults serve. Any losses I take will be difficult to replace.

My navy is fairly useless at this point so I disband it to distribute the griffonpower to my army.

23rd October 1011. The frontlines. The Asterions do land a few divisions that I take care of by sending a few divisions off the main frontline.

14th November 1011. In the far north, New Skynavia burns and the Northern Star falls.

21st December 1011. I probably should have taken this focus sooner to deal with the attrition.

In the far north, the Northern Tribes are victorious.

4th January 1012. The war screen. With some of my losses, I have divisions I can't field at full griffonpower but Sicameon seems to be having more difficulties with the much higher losses they are taking. I hope with some careful advancing I can win this war.

Part 5: Beating the Sicameons
4th January 1012 - 8th June 1012

I select the army regrouping expert as one of my military high command.

The frontlines. Sicameon is still attacking and I am still defending.

11th January 1012. With Sicameon forces depleted from their constant attacks I focus my divisions on attacking at certain points.

25th January 1012. In Equus the griffon colony starts a great northern war and declares war on the Pinguin Republic and others in the following days.

10th February 1012. I made some advances in the center of the frontlines.

I have a good stockpile of support equipment but my artillery and infantry equipment are facing shortages.

The unit I left to defend the port at Saltmarkt is far too weak and I lose the port on the 12th February 1012.

12th February 1012. Aquileia starts to reclaim it former territories in the north.

13th February 1013. Fortunately there is a stroke of stupidity on the AI's part and they leave the port open for me to retake.

18th February 1012. As we countinue to fight on the frontlines favourable news comes as Sicameon declares war on Asterion. This is likely in part cause by their ideological differences. Sicameon being a harmonic nation wishes to destroy fascism in Asterion.

My current production. I have removed support equipment and fighter production and focussed on alleviating my infantry and artillery shortages.

26th February 1012. My divisions are focussed on attacking the depleted Sicameon forces in the center and nearly have a enemy division surrounded.

26th February 1012. The enemy division is successfully surrounded and quickly destroyed.

5th March 1012. Now my divisions are focussing on reaching the Falcor border to cut off the Sicameon divisions in the north from supply.

11th March 1012. I am successful in reaching the Falcor border and the Sicameons forces in the north are cut off.

23rd March 1012. The Sicameon forces in the north are destroyed and I bring my divisions south.

25th March 1012. The current war screen.

27th March 1012. Again I take the improve workers condition decision.

8th April 1012. The strength of my army is now at the frontlines and push aside the weaken Sicameon divisions.

15th April 1012. In Equus, Nova Griffonia defeats the Pinguin Republic.

18th April 1012. the advance continues.

2nd March 1012. The frontline keeps advancing.

While our equipment shortages gets no better, the enemy is in disarray and we push on despite these shortages.

9th May 1012. Our advance continues, destroying more surrounded enemy divisions.

11th May 1012. Aquileia finishes reclaiming its northern territories.

21st May 1012. Victory is in sight and we push towards Midoria.

29th May 1012. As we near Midoria, the enemy gathers their remaining units for a final defense at Midoria.

2nd June 1012. My divisions cut off Midoria before attacking it from multiple provinces.

4th June 1012. I get a ground support expert as my chief of airforce.

7th June 1012. After several days of fighting, Midoria is taken and the lost is enough for Sicameon to surrender.

8th June 1012. In the peace conference I take all states except Midoria, which I left to Sicameon as a puppet. Sicameon has a strong navy and the state has a high population which I could use forpuppet divisions.

With Sicameon defeated I can now focus on Asterion.

Starting to become a local Power

Part 6: March on Asterion
8th June 1012 - 10th October 1012

At this point Asterion has taken high casualties and only has a few divisions left.

11th June 1012. The few divisions they have on the Griffonian mainland are surrounded and destroyed.

16th June 1012. The Griffonian mainland is secure and I now have to march onto the Asterion. I can probably brute force my way past the strait but I can deal with the defenders in a less costly way by using naval invasions.

5 groups of 2 divisions each will land and this will only need 2 weeks to prepare.

On the sea we have naval supremacy due to Sicameon's fleet.

21st June 1012. The ancient city of Griffonstone fall to the communists. To the west a bit, it looks like Griffonstone sold some land to Rumare.

24th June 1012. Griffonstone capitulated and is annexed by Prywhen. It seems the communists have been a little slow to take Griffonstone, perhaps they were not fully focused on the task. Anyway now their war is over, they send 5 divisions as volunteer forces to us.

7th July 1012. The invasion of Asterion goes ahead and the few defenders are quickly overwhelmed. With the strait open, the Cyanolisia army army storms Asterion and occupy their cities. After the initial defenders were destroyed there was little resistance, perhaps only a single Asterion division left.

9th July 1012. Up north Prywhen is justifying a war goal on Rumare. This is probably due to the fact Prywhen now has claims on all of Griffonstone and Rumare has a part of the Kingdom of Griffonstone's territory.

27th July 1012. In the Griffonian Heartlands the Empire wages war on the northern vassals that broke away.

11th August 1012. Before the war ends I will change my conscription law to scraping the barrel. I will get the last bits of griffonpower I can here and then drop my conscription law to reduce the industry penalties.

17th August 1012. I hold enough of Asterion's territory for them to capitulate.

They have a national spirit that increases their surrender limit so I had to take a bit more then what would have usually been required.

18th August 1012. We are victorious and all of Asterion is ours. The odds were stacked against us but we won. I had to do a lot of micromanaging and it was only at the invasion of the asterion mainland did I use AI battle plans. Difficult but it turned out to be possible to prevail in this conflict.

25th September 1012. With Asterion defeated we must now focus on the communist threat in the north. The communist have gathered strength and they may demand Saltmarkt, the state which we took during the civil war, back soon. To prepare we start building fortifications along the border.

10th October 1012. With Asterion defeated, they are now at our mercy. There will be no leniency here and the asterions will be punished.

Part 7: Vengeance on Asterion
10th October 1012 - 23rd June 1013

28th November 1012. Nimbusia from the River Coalition declares war on the small nation of deers to the south. The weak deer nation would not last long and would be puppeted on the 12th December 1012.

1st December 1012. I have maxed out my recruitable population.

I am not at war anymore so to change my conscription law back to remove the penalities I can only go to extensive conscription and I need lots of PP. I probably won't do this for awhile.

19th December 1012. To deal with the minotaurs on the asterion mainland I can either set up a military or collaborationist government.

I chose the military government and the Mandate Territory of Asterion is established.

We will now bring vengeance upon Asterion.

26th December 1012. Nimbusia declares war on the small nation of zebras. The zebras would be puppeted on the 21st February 1013.

16th January 1013. The Kingdom of Sparlèos declares war on House Erie and House Eyrie a few days later.

13th February 1013. The Griffonian Republic declares war on the Northern Tribes.

While the Griffonian Empire is still fighting the northern nations in the Heartlands. The Entente faction has formed.

The Entente is led by the Aquileian Republic and includes the Griffonian Republic and Skyfall Trade Federation.

The Northern Tribes are heavily outnumbered by the forces of the Griffonian Republic alone.

18th February 1013. Asterion is being looted and as they say, its good to be the victor.

The Asterions can deal with the side effects on their own.

Our next focus will be to take care of some dissidents in Asterion.

23rd February 1013. During our looting the city of Prospero was particularly hit hard.

18th March 1013. Prywhen begins to make their move against us.

16th April 1013. House Erie annexes the Kingdom of Sparléos

18th April 1013. Now they have a border, Rumare declares war on House Erie

2nd May 1013. The Northern Tribes are defeated by the Entente.

7th May 1013. Nova Griffonia continues to find success in its Great Northern War.

I hired a electronics concern company.

30th May 1013. Prywhen has their war goal on me but they have yet to declare war. I set my full army on the border with a few divisions I taken from Sicameon and puppet divisions using their population.

31st May 1013. Prywhen declares war on Rumare.

23rd June 1013. The day has come and Prywhen declares war on us. They don't have troops all along the border, probably due to supply issues. While they outnumber us, our troops are likely better equiped and Prywhen is not fully focused on us. There is a good chance the River Coalition will attack south soon and this could greatly aid us in fighting Prywhen.

While in the Heartlands. As the Griffonian Empire continues to struggle to unify the Heartlands, the Griffonian Republic is preparing to strike south into the Heartlands and potentially bring the rest of its faction into the war.
