If there are both viceroyalty administration laws and a Culture of having eunucs do the administration, and even then it might still be deserving tyrranny. Still, if you are the king of France then there is no way that I would buy that one could do that.

The game literally gives you a eunuch once per ruler, so there's some jaded logic in simply extending the process...!

You don't think it's gamey to use the console to do something bizarre and out of the scope of the normal game, a thing that never happened in reality in order to not ever worry about inheritance and keep returning lots of land to your character every succession? If that's not gamey, what is?

I mean, do whatever you want, of course. That goes for the OP and everyone else. It's all for your fun, after all, but can we really argue that this follows the spirit of the game in any way?

Obviously it's cheating if you cheat. Doesn't qualify as being "gamey" directly, gamey is if there was an option in the game and you took advantage to that in undue amounts. But even if there was a legit option to castrate people, I'd say it wouldn't be gamey. Seems realistic enough as a way to reform your government.

You know, it occurs to me that the real-world governments (all of them) might benefit from implementing this policy (and the female equivilent); there's a possibility at least it might whittle down to only the people that really want it (and at least Darwin away the ones that do that are bad by assuring they cannot procreate any further, at any rate).

This seems like a lot of mental gymnastics to justify a concept that flies in the face of the entire spirit of a game that puts interpersonal relationships and inheritance at its center. I'll not use the word gamey, since it's not particularly helpful in descriptiveness. But how does it fit with the rest of the game?

Also, "realistic" as a choice word... are you being serious? That eunuchs were employed in administrative duties in a few places in history doesn't make a mass castration-based viceroy system realistic.

Well, in that case - as with viecroyalties - you'd hope they pop their vlogs before they can actually get anything done and do any damage...!

And maybe if there were balmy enough, we'd actually get someone ike Glitterhoof elected, 'cos that couldn't possibly be worse than... pretty much any ruler in human history...!

Well, if that's your thing, then you should just mod in a ball with no balls decision... Easier than doing it through console. I suggest you add an hefty gold cost to pay for a good bunch of physicians.
