No, I don't like to game the system. I enjoy having an actual challenge in the game unlike many who just like to be the most powerful ruler in the world at all times so that nothing ever goes wrong and there's never any risk.

Usually I check the history of the county and give it to someone who has a claim. If not I pay to invite a nobleman and a noblewoman of suitable age, marry them and give them the county/duchy/whatever.

He's not cheating. he's using the console to work around the problem of not being able to directly invite eunuchs

Of course it's cheating. Circumventing the vassal management part of the game through use of the console to guarantee territory reversion upon death of said mutilated vassal isn't really how the game was designed. Sure, you can do it with the Greeks but that's because it's their thing. If the player wants to be some sort of sexually psychotic control freak with his/her vassals, play the Greeks or associated Byzantine cultures.

Forcing the game to do something for the player that the player can't do for themselves is cheating, in it's simplest form. Players can do what they want in their games, sure, but I fail to see how it can be entertaining for themselves.

The only reasonable RP justification is, in my opinion, that you are basically appointing bureaucrats to rule in your stead but since game mechanics don't allow it, you must resort to this weird eunuch stuff. But as others have said, it kinda defeats the purpose of the game, but whatever works for you, man. At the end of the day, the important thing is that you yourself are having fun. I on the otherhand like to give all spare land to dynasty members and watch with glee how they marry eachother and slowly become a mess of genetic diseases.

Don't think it's very gamey. Didn't Ottomans make eunuchs their bodyguards and administrators too? I mean, breach of feudal contract boo hoo. If it works, it works. And yeah, there are loads of times where it's actually better to not do that, so it's not a catch-all solution.
