Custom world wars?

Hey.

Anyone wanna give their benefit to this thread regarding big wars? What's your greatest wars. Haven't tried to much myself, but a war with:

Ottoman, Russia and Sweden vs. France, UK and Preussen i think also.

Anyone ever tried the whole world?

I've never gotten the whole world, but my current multiplayer game is pretty good.

My friend as France:
Military alliance with Great Britain, Austria, Two Sicilies (most of Italy now), Belgium, USA, and Venezuela of all places.

Me as Germany:
Military alliance with Spain, Russia, China (still uncivilized, but huge).
Defensive alliance with Austria, Belgium, Great Britain.

My friend has most of Africa, as well as SE Asia.
I own most of Eastern Europe, Persia, Central Asia, and the Indian Ocean coast of Africa.

If either of us blinks, there's gonna be chaos. :wacko:

In my UK game I had UK, France, Germany, Russia, Italy and the Ottomans vs Austria Austria was split up between us and annexed

I had a South America vrs Europe war, ended with pretty much a draw 'cause no one wanted to invade the other all that much.

I've had me as France, UK, Spain, USA, Russia, and Austria vs. Prussia before. Very easy war, and whaddya know, Germany didn't form. Amazing.

The AI never makes grand alliances. It would be more fun if it did. As of now, the player has a big advantage if they amek a grand alliance.

I've had New England(me), Germany, Austria, Russia, Italy, Ottomans, and China vs the UK, France, USA, Belgium, Spain, Japan, and Persia.

I led the alliance of Mexico, UK, Austria, Prussia, France, Ottomans and two or three other countries vs Russia and Sweden.

Sweden was relatively unhurt

The Great eastern war, Russia, Sweden VS. Prussia, Austria, China, Ottoman Empire.

1) with Holland, Hungary & Belgium against Austria, France, UK, Russia & Otto's
2) with Persia & Egypt against Russia

and the war that would end all wars would be (coming soon this summer) ...

What about your biggest posessions? I know it ain't much, and you'll probably laugh at he, but it was my first game, this is where it ended in 1921:
I was playing as Denmark with Greenland, Iceland and the Danish West Indian Islands. When the game was finish in 1921 i had small part of Korea, most of Italy, Holstein, Most of Holland, half of Scotland, all of Ireland i believe, most of Marocco, most of Guatamala, all of Greece, a small bite of India and even some more countries i can come up with when i've ended this post But the game ended in 1921 to my big dissapointment But now i've got a small program that will allow me to play to 1998 - plz tell me if you know a program so you can play even more.. I want all of the world, that's my obj..

Someone should do a mod where EVERY nation starts out involved in a great war. Could the code handle a 50+ nation alliance at war with another 50+ nation alliance?

Germany (me), UK, South Africa, Croatia, Poland (I helped it along, as a buffer from Russia), and China v. France, Italy, and Greece (which I had also helped along, ungrateful bastards).

France was knocked out early, and Greece offered a white peace I accepted, but the Italians were a hard nut to crack. The Brits had taken most of southern Italy, but the areas of the north were hard; they had a lot of men. Eventually, 1921 came along with no resolution.

I was hoping the Russians would join in, but I had handed them their heads on a platter previous to this and wiped out any land borders with them, so there wasn't much they could do, I guess.

I know that a modder tried this out in HOI, in basically starting all the major powers in a status of war with each and EVERYONE of all the other countries.

So it should be possible to do with Victoria as well

Actually I set up an edited save game file to get this war based on the 1861 scenario...

France, Italy, Sweden, Prussia, Ottomans versus
Austria, England, Russia, Spain

...talk about a badass and pretty even war...
The result was pretty much a draw on the Prusso-Austrian and Russo-Prussian fronts
The Ottomans picked up a little bit from Austria I think, but they lost some territory to Russia.
England snatched up a bunch of French colonies and captured Calais (who knew that the Vic AI could invade France better than the HOI AI!!)
Spain and France fought to a bloody standstill too, and I think Italy picked up a few provs from Austria.
