I had an idea for a new option that could be added for event-spawned rulers: custom titles.
Let me explain: let's say you want to add an event where a condotieri takes over one of the Italian states. The event will make the country a despotic monarchy, because you don't want to add another government just for the sake of one event, but you'd like for the leader to be called "Captain Michelangelo Buonarroti" rather than "King Michelangelo Buonarroti", so what you would do is this:
His successors would be called kings (really should be dukes, all over Italy, Germany and Free France), but him history would remember as Captain, the founder of the line. You could also have an event change the custom title during a ruler's reign.
By the way, I came up with this idea, because I wanted to have a ruler called Fra Girolamo Savonarola, rather than Archbishop Girolamo Savonarola.
