So i ended up with vinland, AND newfoundland in canada, and I would like to be able to set my extra colonial nation's dejure borders to encompass the northeastern seaboard, and limit Florida and Newfoundland's dejure lands to make room. ( 20171005112016_1.jpg)

Is there any way to make this work, or do i just have to be careful about how i hand out defacto land?

On that same vein, is there any way to change which colony owns which province after it's already been handed out?

Every province you colonize will go to your original colonial nation of that region, so any land in Canada you colonize will go to Newfoundland.

On that same vein, is there any way to change which colony owns which province after it's already been handed out?

No, there's no way to revoke land from your colonial subjects unless you somehow go to war with them.
