Custom Avatars?

I read the FAQ on avatars and it said that the administrator had to enable custom avatars...

I've also read you need to reach a certain number of posts to use them? Does this mean the ones in the avatar list? Or does this mean to use a custom one, period.

I'm asking because I would like to use Birger Jarl's new YOR avatar

I Think people with a custom avatar will want to be the only one with it, ... so I guess you'll have to ask your own .

well yeah, I was gonna ask Havard or someone if I could get one but I figured I'd just inquire first...

well, I would like to use your YOR shield as a custom avatar, but if I have to prove myself worthy via contribution, I am not too sure what that criteria is.
Chances are I have not lived up to any though...

Help on flags

Problem

I have flag problems in all variations of games ie EEP and AGCEEP with flags for Livonian order (U18), Meiben (U16) and retreating armies. All flags shown as multi spotted coloured flags.

All relevent shields are OK.

Have 1.1 installed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Firstly, sorry for the wrong section that I started this complaint.

Loaded MKJ feb patches (both), it only fixed armies that where in foreign soil after a war ie a plain white flag no problem (not tattered).

loaded 1.1e as well.

I still have problems with retreating flags (the tattered ones) also, Livonian Order flag and Meiben flag. All other flags are OK.

Has the flag file name for LO and Meiben been changed? or are they still u18 and u16 respective?

The flags do exist in my directories.

The Livonian Order has been added by Paradox, their tag is LIV. Don't know what it is in AGCEEP.

Do you know if you're using 8 or 24 bit flags?

The Livonian Order flags in EEP are 8 bit, and I *think* the Meissen one are, but they might be 24

If you still want a custom avatar, no chance you will get one (at least not before me I hope ). You need to do something special, like making the GUFSM and other graphical which Johan liked and got included in patches. That's the way Birger Jarl and MKJ got their custum avatar I presume.

But I think Havard is the best authority to contact about it.
