Cursor problem on windowed mode hoi3

I edited the game files to make Hoi3 be windowed since people said BICE would crash less if I do that, the problem is that when I start the game I am unable to stabilize the game in the center of the screen, it always go to one extreme and below the task bar. After messing around a bit I solved the problem by changing the dimensions on the game (the highest one) and I was finally able to balance the game on the center of the screen, but now to click any button I have to click below the button itself or it doesn't work which is super annoying, does anyone knows how to fix this?
