I'm currently playing a Moscovy<Russia and I've noticed several things. First the Timurids are unusually stable, I feel afraid to attack Kazan, not because hordes are even threatening at all, but because there allied with the Timurids. To a lesser extent as the Hosokawa I don't see the Timurids breaking up at all and it's past 1500. Second hordes are nothing, maybe it was the luck of draw. Crimea got conquered by a lucky Genoa, granted it's free now but weaker, The Golden Horde is now a vassal of Kazan, but I managed to them a TPM after ripping out Astrakhan. The Nogai are also vassals of the Uzbeks. I don't if this is common , but I also saw France struggling with England to the point where England did occupy Northern France, again in the 1500's, Burgundy also exists but won't get Holland back so there in a state of limbo it seems.

I've been trying to get Muscovy to work since the update and I find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place. Lithuania is more powerful now and Kazan always gets vassalized and annexed in my games by either the golden horde or Nogai. To top it off, the ottomans and timurids love to ally hordes in the area. Scandinavia isn't really worth it because autonomy/unrest sucks out any income from conquests in an already poor area. One game I managed to vassalize the golden horde and Kazan, but poland/lithuania was still unbeatable. My issue is that I don't see how a human muscovy can handle a human poland at the start date. It'd be a fun challenge if the russian/orthodox provinces revolted more easily, but lithuanian ideas and ai are built to avoid that.

If I was to have one change in the next patch, it would be to halve the increase/decrease autonomy modifiers so that you and the ai can't make 10 unrest disappear so easily.

Wait what? I thought they dealt with the issue.

It was easy before AoW.
I never had worse tech or smaller army than AI as Ottomans.

Now i am not competetive, France and Austria become monsters in tech, land, and army. I am stong bot not like the superpower before Aow.

I like it.

Also rebellions become important. 3-4 rebellions sized of 15-20 in one area becomes a pain in the ... now, and it is harder to crush them.

love it.

However rebellions are much more manageable and easier to prevent, and if that fails it's also easier to prepare for them since you know when they happen.

yeah, but i forget every time to look at since the heat of war. (i do always fight)

so because i forget i do not prepare for them. SO when i learn that there is a huge rebellion at serbia while my armies fighting in deserts of arabia and persia it becomes a huge trouble for me=)
