So I decided to play a norse dynasty called 'Gautske' in 867 start. The game went fine for awhile and before 1000 I managed to form the Kingdom of some random unpronounceable norse place name AKA Sweden, with 25 dukes and counts serving the King.

Before the Conclave I never patched the game beyond the SoA so I had no experience with the infamous 'Seduction' focus, and in my 5 previous post-Conclave games I had no adultery problem pehaps because I picked the 'Family' focus first. Now this time, about 3 or 4 dukes and counts in the Kingdom decided to go seduce spree and unfortunately my firstborn couldn't pick any focus, because he's unlanded.

Eventually his wife decided that some random 56 years old count of unpronounceable place is better than her ambitious, quick, diligent and 'Grey Eminence' husband, who happens to be the Crown Prince by the way. I picked the 'Intrigue' focus and had imprisoned the dude, but couldn't imprison nor assassinate the Crown Princess because her stats was so good.

At this point I had no idea how bad this thing could go, and I went to see what was going on by using in-game character finder. Turns out almost every adult woman had either 'Rejecting Seduction Attempts' trait or 'Lover's Pox'. The old man had 'Lover's Pox' as well. I suspect he was spreading it to these victims, and eventually to the Crown Princess.

Okay, so now I know that the Way of Life DLC is broken, even a year and half after its release, and that any sane, good man should not even buy this one, but I want to finish this run first. I think I'll just jail anyone who has picked up the 'Seduction' focus from this time on, however teh 'Lover's Pox' on the seduction victims remains a problem, even more so as I suspect this disease to be a STD. Is there any cure?

If its not iron man mode turn on char info and make sure your dynasty members are truly of your blood. Would be weird if crown prince was not your son! :p

Unfortunately not.

Yes, it's an STD. No, it's not curable with 8th-15th century medicine.

The DLC isn't bad though - you've just been a little unlucky that he's brought a little extra to the court. The seduction focus is actually very useful in the hands of a player, since seducing relevant lords and ladies can make your life a lot easier - until they all find out about each other...

So you played 4 games and only once you got worried that the wife of your heir has been seduced. That's like, what, 1% of the characters you played that got hit by seduction?

It's been nerfed into making it very hard and time consuming to get even a lover (unless you're attractive,...). It's not a problem anymore, I would even say it's been nerfed too hard, although I like it more than some of the previous "lusty" versions.

As for lovers pox it's a very insignificant modifier.

Points taken but still it's very annoying to know that it only takes four professional adulterers to run havoc in my kingdom. And it looks like that I have no legimate way to punish them and that I can only imprison them by selecting the Intrigue focus and spy on them.

EDIT: Could you guys give me some tips to defend my court from these seducers?

Assassinate them. Once you get rid of them, your court should be safe for a while. I have around 80 courtiers, most are clean.

The real cure for lovers pox is to roll back the game to the version just before Rajas of India released. No stuttering or lag, just proper, fast, smooth, good old fashioned CK2.

Just going to leave this here for educational purposes.
Worldwide rates of either HSV-1 or HSV-2 are between 60% and 95% in adults. HSV-1 is usually acquired during childhood. Rates of both increase as people age. Rates of HSV-1 are between 70% and 80% in populations of low socioeconomic status and 40% to 60% in populations of improved socioeconomic status. An estimated 536 million people worldwide (16% of the population) were infected with HSV-2 as of 2003 with greater rates among women and those in the developing world. Most people with HSV-2 do not realize that they are infected.
.....
No method eradicates herpes virus from the body, but antiviral medications can reduce the frequency, duration, and severity of outbreaks.
.....
Herpes has been known for at least 2,000 years. Emperor Tiberius is said to have banned kissing in Rome for a time due to so many people having cold sores. In the 16th-century Romeo and Juliet, blisters "o'er ladies' lips" are mentioned. In the 18th century, it was so common among prostitutes that it was called "a vocational disease of women".

Some people truly take in-game infidelity more seriously than others do in real life. :D

I know there are people who are more interested in their own favorite aspect, say, painting the map, than any other parts of the game. In my case it's roleplaying.

It was just annoying to see these red heart icons all around over the world, click this character bam lover's pox, click that character what a surprise lover's pox; It was breaking my immersion, what's worse, there was nothing I could do to block this other than arresting seducers through a very gamey way (spying). And then there is the STD aka 'Lover's Pox' trait problem. Hence my original question, "is this trait curable?"

Also in my nation adultery was punished by up to two years in jail until the very last year of 2015, so maybe that's playing a part in my discomfort.

It takes time to became a problem, but I found myself taking a very unroleplaying stance on it and keeping tabs on my seduction prone lords' wards, because it begins with the one or two random vassals choosing Seduction as their focus.
In my games, each of them usually turn out to raise their wards lustful. And it seems as if lustful overrides other traits, since in a few generations, it turns into a seduction madness.
But I wouldn't call it awful. I just stick with the 'Rejecting Seduction Attempts' chaste brides whenever they are availiable.

To me it's all about micro-managing your kingdom..

Start arresting people, taking away their titles, killing them, starting wars.. Putting them as commanders and sending them off to fight battles for 10+ years..

there are tons of ways in game to stop people from spreading the pox, you just must rule with an iron fist!

Keep an eye on who has it, and who is lustful, and go from there.. good luck!

As for lovers pox it's a very insignificant modifier.

This is the key point. It doesn't matter. Now, if it bothers you, it bothers you, but it doesn't make the game or DLC "broken" in any manner. That's like saying that you want Saxony to be purple on the political map, and the game is broken 'cause Saxony's brown instead.

And yeah, seduction has been toned down a lot now, because a seduction target that says "no" will get the "Resisting Seduction Attempts" modifier which will keep anyone from seducing them for 10 years, and apparently permanently blocks the particular seducer involved.
