Next HIP update, yes. Unfortunately I was a tad busy with the holidays and all so I barely missed today's update.

FYI these quotes are from your first two posts. Not only are they opposite, If I understand right, neither one is true The first one in particular might lead someone to not use your mod if he didn’t have the Charlemagne and WoL portrait packs.

It can be abit confusing but essentially CPR portraits, as they are meant to look like, requires all portrait dlc (except the iberian one, for now). If you don't have any of the portrait dlc packs, you can still use CPR but you'll need to apply the portrait fix to remove references to dlc textures which you may not own.

Oh whoops, I should probably update the FAQ section I guess. Also, there's no portrait fix anymore. Gotta update that too I guess. -_-

1. I use CPR with the HIP mod. I've noticed in the new version (post-WoL) that the georgian and armenian females don't have byzantine-like portraits, but western ones.
I looked at culture.txt and portraits.gfx, but could'nt find any clues about it.
Could you provide me any help?

2. Also, your former byzantine/ mediterranean eyes are far better (in my opinion) than those in the new iberian and byzantine portraits. Is there anyway to put them back?
I'm trying to do it myself in my own game, but I keep getting portrait misplacement everytime...

I can't answer for the achievements bit, but to download this mod and this mod only...download HIP. In the installer, simply select 'no' to all the others except CPR, and make sure to type 'Yes' to CPR as I believe it auto-defaults to 'no'. Bam. You have it installed.

I'm wondering if there's something specific to the SWMH version or something.

Anyways, as for putting the eyes back, again, it's something that'll require you to actually edit the art assets, since the skin around the eyes (which are based on the Muslim eyes, so, therefore, have the Muslim skin color around them) have to match the color of the skin of the faces proper, and that's something I really don't know how to do.

CPR changes the checksum I beleive so achievements aren't possible I think. As for the link, like StarlightTW said, CPR is in the HIP installer, so just download that and make sure you only install CPR.

Over the past few days while I've been doing other stuff I had a bit of time to mess around with early era versions of existing portrait sets, so here's little preview for y'all of the early berbergfx (currently used for only the Somalis in CPR, as well as a few African cultures in SWMH):

Nothing really difficult, just gave them the early Muslim clothes and voila.

I did also try an early version of the Levantine portrait set, but for some reason I couldn't get the women to have the early Muslim clothes so I'm gonna have to figure out what's wrong with my code.

In the HIP installer, make sure you select only CPR, that's all.

just to know,are the misplaced facial hair (beard and stuff) problem fixed on latest one? that made it unplayable with all the people having mustache right on their nose(literally coming out of their nose) rather than under or beard floating bit too far from their faces ;o

PRP's been using this configuration for non-pagan Somalis and west Africans since November. It works really well!

And here's the early Ethiopians (also applied to Nubians, as well as a few other appropriate cultures in SWMH, of course):

Dunno how accurate it is but can't be worse than the face paint in vanilla.

This will probably be the last portrait set I'll have for the next release. So all in all for the next release we'll have two new portrait sets (basquegfx and occitangfx), three new early versions of existing portrait sets (ethiopiangfx, levantinegfx, and berbergfx), and re-added saxongfx which includes an early variant.

Make sure you have all these DLCs and that they are activated:

- Mongol portraits
- African portraits
- Russian portraits
- Mediterranean portraits
- Norse portraits
- Celtic portraits
- Turkish portraits
- Persian portraits

Please carefully double, triple, quadruple check that you have all of those. A lot of people who report similar issues tend to miss one.

(Also, although they are not required yet, after the next HIP release, the Iberian portraits and both early eastern and early western clothing packs will also be required.)
