Cultures and Portraits Revamp

Probably minor incompatibility due to changes in cultures (nothing game breaking but pretty annoying) but it shouldn't be too much to change, I'll take a look at exactly what the new patch changes.

Probably the addition of a jewish culture.

Yeah I'm pretty much the same way. I'm messing around in ironman mode right now till this mod gets updated and I can give it a try. Getting as many achievements as I can before I re-mod the game myself. I just have way too many personal nitpicks to be bothered with playing vanilla.

Like some religions should have female generals, so I mod them in. I make assassinations cheaper so that the AI can actually use it on me and each other. I also change the age required for portrait swaps to be 14/45/60 instead of 16/30/45 Etc etc etc.

Features: Updated to patch 2.0, Alan and Guanche portrait sets

New version up, updated to patch 2.0, including PB compatch. Tested both normal and portrait fix versions, should be fine. There is no compatch for the CKII+ or SWMH versions because those mods aren't updated to patch 2.0 yet.

This update also includes two new portrait sets, one for the Guanche (for VIET and whatever mods have them, but otherwise unused in CPR) and one for the Alans.

- Guanches (in VIET and other mods that have them) have a unique ‘guanchegfx’ portrait set, combining a Mediterranean appearance with African clothes and hair
- Alans have a unique ‘alangfx’ portrait set, combining a Mediterranean appearance with Russian clothes, Mongol headgear, and Russian/Christian Norse hair
- Non-Pagan Norse now use Western clothes
- Integrated extra portrait backgrounds into base CPR (i.e. they are no longer optional)
- Ashkenazi Jews now use Occitanian portrait set
- Sephardi Jews now use Andalusian portrait set
- Fixed Andalusiangfx having Christian buildings

OMG this is awesome! I was fairly sure the 'dead' mod NBRT+ was causing my modded install to fail, but it was just my not-updated CPR. Turns out 2.0 still works with NBRT+CPR+KSIA!!! YAY!

Currently this mod is making the leader of mauretania in the 1066 start white and frankish. Im assuming this is due to incompatability with swmh mod which im cirrently using?

SWMH added a bunch of new cultures so the ones that were not there before show up as no culture which shows the standard white portrait. I have a quick fix I can post here, just give me a sec.

Edit: here is the quick fix http://www.mediafire.com/view/spsrprj1m63lnmm/00_cultures.txt just put it C:\Users\GimpyH\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\Cultures and Portraits Revamp\common\cultures

Yes, probably. SWMH just updated, and usually I'd have a SWMH compatch, but not yet. I'm waiting to release the next version of CPR until the hotfix is officially released.

For now, though, to temporarily fix it, you can just go to "mods/Cultures and Portraits Revamp/common/cultures" and delete everything in there. You'll miss a few of the portrait sets but otherwise it should work.

@GimpyH: Thanks for doing the quick fix. As said I'll have my official fix up after the hotfix is out, but I guess people can use your thing for now.

NP, I gave the ethiopiangfx to the eastern kingdoms and the rest the other African gfx sets, should be alright till the official one is out.
