Right, so I downloaded the latest version of the mod, loaded my Old Gods Norse save, and the problem of needing to be Finnish to create the Empire of Scandinavia was still there.
I assumed this was probably something to do with having saved whilst using the old version of the mod, and it was simply going to be unsolvable in this current save game.
I started a new game, using the Old Gods start date, and unfortunately it seems that even with a fresh new start using the mod, the requirement of your character needing to be Finnish for the creation of the Empire of Scandinavia remains...
It's so annoying how this one small thing is stopping me from playing a game with these great portraits, since a major goal in my Norse playthrough is to create the EoS. :glare:

This mod doesn't change landed_titles.txt... are you sure you're not using another mod? Or misinterpreting the creation requirements? EoScandinavia should require North German OR Finnish culture.
EDIT: I just checked, mine says "One of the following must be true" and then either North Germanic Culture OR Finnish culture. Both with only CPR loaded and without any mods.
You know I think that's what I've done...o
It says North Germanic or Finnish...I need to pay more attention.
That said, I still can't create the title, and I can't see any reason why not?

Can anyone see why? I have the 80% of the de-jure counties needed, I have the money, and I more than have the needed piety, yet it's still a no-go?
55/69*100= 79.7% meaning less than 80%, it's also marked as red. I think that's why.
Hi, don't know if this has been reported already but Masmuda culture berbers are looking like western europeans in SWMHM + CPR latest version. i changed from westernafricangfx to berbergfx and it worked, they look like Tuaregs.
Good work for med, for iberians and italians in particular!
Only one thing; the eyebrown. The still look like monkey because of them, and using western ones the eye became very white (so, different form the face).
Also, I think that berbers had to have lighter skin
The improved mediterranean looks are the work of GeorgAfLuckba. From what I recall while he wasn't 100% with the results, it was the best his photoshopping skills could do, unfortunately.
Also, what d'you mean when you say using the western ones the eyes become very white? Do you mean when using the customization options? If so, can you provide a screenshot?
The Berbers' skin tone varied greatly. Tuaregs, who are Berbers, are very dark-skinned and look very close if not like other Africans in skin tone. Examples here, here, and here. Well, darker than the default Muslim portraits, in my opinion, though a bit lighter than the default African portraits.
Anyhow, the portrait set is called berbergfx because I originally used them for the Berbers back when CPR was a culture mod as well, so I split the Maghreb culture into two - Maghreb would represent the more lighter-skinned, Arabicized Berbers to the north, while Berber would represent the ones from the south who weren't as Arabicized, these included the Tuareg, and I made them darker for variety's sake. Now that PI has cleverly said "Oh, the Maghreb culture's actually Berber!", I left the Berbers with the muslim portrait set, although in reality they should be drawing from the mediterranean, muslim, and African portrait sets. In SWMH, only the Tuaregs should have the berbergfx.
In the future, though, I'll try to find a way to make the berbergfx a bit lighter skinned - so still clearly dark, but not as dark as it is now, as the Tuaregs and the East Africans it represents should be a bit lighter skinned anyways.
I tried to mod it, copying the western eyes and renaming "byzantine", but the skin around the eye is too white. Not with customization options, customization work, but it use eye i don't like.
Maybe you're right, I don't know very well berber ethnicity. I saw that because of pictures like this http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bereberpeople.jpg (that can be sicilian or even southern italian). The differentiation between lighter maghreb and darker berber it's okey.
Would you be okay with me integrating this excellent mod into an expanded version of my Memento Mori mod? I keep making a fully compatible version for myself all the time and thought I could perhaps share it. Ofcourse you'll be fully credited for your work.
Ck2+ compatch!
Groovy. Thanks. Not going to change or add anything to your mod. Just integrate it. Basically I mod Memento Mori myself to work with a few other mods as my own fav 'light' overhaul and thought I'd share it. Your amazing work on the portraits really enhances the vanilla game that much for me.
Hi, i love the new update! the possibility to have different clothing for pagan or non-pagan is a dream come true! Is it possible to have different clothing set for a muslim that converted to christianity or vice-versa?
Btw, after updating to the newest version, all off Turk, Arab, Persian, Maghrebi, & Andalusian have blank potraits. only the headgear is showing up.
