i just picked up sunset invasion togetehr with napoleon total war(i generally get some dlc together with a major purchase of games or a major dlc), and am going to start as a lowly count in western/central-north-south-ish, but close to their probale invading area's), and thus got plenty of choices for starting area's. while i prefer to start somewhere stable-ish(northern france, northern england, western HRE), it sdoesnt really matter much. but as im planning to kick the aztecs fromt he continent(and build a western european empire at the same time) or smply avert their invasion, im mainly wondering about with what culture to start. while im not 100% sure about the composition of the aztec armies(light and ehavy inf i suppose, like their retinue's?), im a tad wondering about the "best" culture to counter them. heavy inf from the nroth(and thge defensive irish ones or the offensive scandinavian ones?) with some cav support or general levies supported by heavy cav, or shock retinue's with heavy cav support(french n germns)?
