Currently playing a mission and event driven Portugal campaign (RP in other words) and was trying to discover if there are any events or missions related to culture change from the original province culture to my primary. Or even an event that shifts non-accepted culture to accepted. I can't remember any generic events in all the time I've played EU4 and could not find any on the wiki. I could swear EU3 culture shift events could happen though. Anyway, if there are none then I suppose I could come up with a reason to manually force one or two culture shifts in my empire. Sticking with original cultures and religions in new provinces certainly makes for an interesting game trying to ride the waves of unrest...especially during wars. Certainly something worth trying for those who enjoy something different.
