Hi.

While going through alot of research materieals earlier this week, i thought. Why not share some of them with you, especially my two favorite painters..

Both are 19-20th painters, so outside the scope of EU, even if some paintings depict the era.

First of all ..

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Aivazovsky - his grand naval paintings must be experienced in person. The time some of his great paintings was exhibited in Stockholm was a great inspiration for EU4..

And of course.. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilya_Repin. . Who here does not love his painting of The Reply of the Zaporozhian host?
