cultural assimilation prevents vassal release

Hi all, I've noticed while playing as Burgundy (DW - BJLT) that when event 7200 (Cultural Assimilation - defined in events/culturalspread.txt) triggers I cannot release vassals for the provinces affected. For instance, it happened for Hainaut and Luxembourg (Wallonian to Burgundian) and the 2 countries dissapeared from the list of available nations I could release. This is strange since Nevers has a core on a Burgundian culture province and can be released (it has Burgundian from game start). Is this a bug maybe?

This is not a bug. You can only release a country as a vassal (or be forced to release it as a vassal in a peace deal) if you own at least one province that satisfies the following conditions:

• It has that country's core.
• It has that country's national primary culture as its provincial culture.

Luxembourg and Hainaut have Wallonian national primary culture, so once they've flipped to Burgundian you can't release them.
