Ctrl +/- not working?

Playing 1.02 and I can't speed up or slow down the game speed with Ctrl + or Ctrl -.

Try using the + and - on the keypad (right side) of the keyboard perhaps?

Not sure that will help Ibn... + and - are used to zoom in or out IIRC

I agree that "CTRL -" and "CTRL +" do nothing to alter the speed of the game while in multiplayer mode. My brother and I play via the internet and both have tried hosting the game and neither of us are able to alter game speed using the aformentioned key combinations. Using the number pad to the right of the keyboard also has no effect.

doesn`t work in MP (yet ), i.e. WAD

in SP it works for me.

It should work in MP with 1.02, only it does not display a message telling you. Are you guys sure it is not slowing the game down when you do it?

Yes, I'm sure it doesn't work. Just by watching the time go by I could tell if a speed change was enacted.

Right, there is no change in the clock speed. I'm using the + and - on the main part of the keyboard, not the keypad. Even tried Ctrl Shift with the + sign since it is upper case but that didn't help either.

UPDATE: We tried again tonight and lo and behold the "CTRL +" and "CTRL -" are working! We are using the "+" and "-" keys on the number pad to the right of the keyboard and it works.

Sorry, I didn't have a chance to try it last night. However if you're sure it works then mark this as Not a bug. I can always post again here if it still doesn't workl for me but it sounds like using the numeric pad is the answer. Thanks.
