CTD when China annexes Shanxi

Play as Japan and try to get China to annex Shanxi - I alway get a CTD.

Sorry that I don't have a "perfect" savegame to reproduce, the annex event seems to be somewhat random.

Just posted this 5 minutes ago in the Tech Forum.
I played germany and everytime China annexed Guangxi and the info window poped up the game went CTD.
Well...now happy to know that this is already a known issue so Iam not the only one...to be honest...It was pissing me totally off the last hour when I tried about 10 times to reload and the game went CTD again and again and I thought...what a great sunday evening.......f...................ck......:rofl::rofl::rofl:...

by the way..in the german language settingas there are some unfortunate translations on the money and conversion sliders and why is Köln Cologne in the german version ?...
(If there is any interest I could provide better expressions for some of the sliders names)

I got past it by having the game at Below Average speed.

...will give it a try NOW...maybe the evening is not entirely lost...was waiting since I downloaded the game to play a few hours and now on the weekend when I have the time I get annoyed by a nasty little bug...that could be called "bad luck"...anyway...thanks for the info...

And i got passed it by setting a popup to pause, save the game and reload with the notification on screen. The CTD seems to accure after i press the "NatChi has annexed.." button. With the reload the notification is gone and i can continue.

Nothing of the before mentioned worked for me...so I got around it by loading as Guangxi...I disbanded all units...then loaded as China and made a fast cakewalk to occupy neccesarry territories and annexed manually...saved and loaded and continued as Germany...

Hi Zwiback, was it easy to defeat China playing as Japan? Is the Sino-Japanese war better balanced?
