CTD upon exiting game

Have a descent pc, ultima Vista 32 - all ok. Having installed HOI2DD Arma 1.2 and games still run nicely in the end of 44. having probs with ghostfleets for ally Italy that i purge every 3 day. Still game runs ok.
Trouble that puzzles me: when i exit a game: CTD and message: HOI2 stopped running and all that. Is there any way around this ?

This is a bug that has existed in HOI2 ever since the first version.

We at the Arma Patch Project looked into this issue and never found the specific reason why this happens.

So... it's normal.. workaround... none found yet.
