CTD on surrender

AoD 1.10. Starting 12/23/1940, CTD every time I surrender as (almost) any country. Reboot did not help. More than 20 incidents (on 1/1/1941 I loaded as all countries involved in the war to count IC).

Exception: surrendering as Oman (once) or NZ (twice) did NOT crash the game.

I do not know this bug. My best guess is that something is wrong with the savegame you loaded.

It is definitely a savegame issue as saves before early October 1940 are not bugged. I was going to ask for advice where to look but then a save done on 1/12/1941 worked fine. So it fixed itself by some unknown black magic.

The problem came back later. Would it be due to the most recent savegame created or to the one loaded for the current session? And any idea what to look for?
