CTD on saving the game

I recently dusted of my Steam version of FTG. If I play the no mod version I have no problems. But if
I play the AGCEEP or the Age of Timur version the game CTD when I try to save the game.
Is there any way to avoid this? Changing the settings?
Any response is appreciated.

The issue is likely that no save game folder exists within the mod(s) you're playing. Try creating one, and then save.
