CTD on load once castile forms spain

Well I have never heard of this one, in fact it is reccomended that you save and reload after a tag change like that.

Are you attempting to load from within the game or are you exiting and then loading from the main screen?

Also that menu screen or the intro screen should have the version number in the corner, Top Right IIRC.

Hah. I am using version 1.07.

Loading from within the game. I have a couple saved games from after the switch, and I have tried loading them both as Castile and as Spain after the switch with the same result.

I just tried from the main menu, and I can load other countries like Nippon or Aragon. However, I can't attempt Spain from the main menu because it's shield is darkened, and I can't select it.

Wierd.

Okay load the savegame as another nation, save the game, exit the whole program, reboot, now start the game and load the new save as Spain.

It does not have to be a major that you switch to any nation will do.

I guess I should have asked which part is still not working.

I thought he was able to load as Spain just that it crashed again.
