So Im playing the Ottomans and wanted to conquer 'the Knights' on Rhodes (they were still a single city country). They didn't have any allies/vassels etc., so it seemed easy enough. So I forged a claim, declared a war and sent an army. Now suddenly france joins the war (he might be the defender of the faith, don't really understand that mechanic). The problem is that france is now the primary enemy. So even after fully sieging Rhodes, I still only have 1% war score.
Now france is occupied with several other wars (not to mention they are very fay away), so france won't actually do anything in the war. But because I only have 1% war score, I can't even white peace out. I do have a bigger army than france, but I can't send my whole army because of rebbels. So even though I completly crushed 'the Knights' and have a stronger army than the coalition, I will be forced to concede defeat.
Any thoughts on this? Is there a way to win this for me, and if not, do you agree this is a problem?
