It would be really cool if we could replicate the first crusade where the crusaders capture and establish different Crusader States (Edessa, Antioch etc) And making those newly created states into permanent allies could help them survive longer.
The event could fire if the crusaders have more than 60% war score and completely control a duchy in Syria, then a crusader state is created from that Duchy and a crusading lord gets the title. Any such state automatically gets a permanent alliance with other crusader states in Syria and should the title be created the Kingdom of Jerusalem. That can prevent small muslim emirs declaring war on them and only a jihad or strong muslim realms can reconquer the holy land.
