A few of my thoughts.
1) Crusades in Iberia, southern Italy and Africa always are successful, however, in Egypt and the Holy Land not. I experienced a lot of interesting crusades, where the lands were divided among many rulers. But all crusades for caliphates last for decades without end. After a few hundreds of years in several games I experienced it only once. Massive crusade for example Alexandria. Do you think, what are the reasons for that situation?

2) While crusades are very well planned, I thinks it's to small events connected with them. And only one poor trait? C'mon!
