Crusader Kings without... kings?

After 4 years of existence of the game there is no coronation imechanics (apart some mods).
No coronation = no king, only usurper or just ruler could appear.

Any chance for coronation?
This would strengthened the position of pope, factions, claimants and so on...
and makes the game more historical accurate.

I agree, but this wont be happening in ck 2 I think.
Let's hope for ck 3 if that will ever exist and does not become an eu clone
