I want to avoid clicks, but without soldiers teleporting to a province. Hypothetically, I want to ALT-click a province and see a little flag show up there. I then start CTRL-clicking provinces, raising their armies and giving them move orders to the rally point. I ALT-click a new province to set a new rally point if I want.
It's just, CTRL-click is a lot easier than scrolling to a province, clicking it, moving the mouse to the levy button, clicking it, moving the mouse to the close window button, then clicking again.
With the vassal limit, I am unsure exactly how would be best to implement it. A simple opinion modifier might work (this has the advantage of being highly visible to the player, whereas my later suggestions will probably only ever be known to players who obsessively use the forums), but other possibilities would include increasing vassal plots directly (both likelihood to scheme, and their effective Intrigue scores), and directly reducing taxes (matters little) or levies (more significant, but doesn't increase the likelihood of trouble starting in the first place).
It's just that a big reason why large military powers don't send their troops off willy-nilly is because they can only do so much at once. If I'm the Holy Roman Empire, I should worry that the instant I send my soldiers off to fight on the Iberian peninsula will be the instant I have an independence revolt. I should be less confident of my control over so very many vassals, and keeping them weak and happy should be a constant concern when I have so many. Paradox games are great, but they always make it far too easy to paint the map the color of your choice.
I didn't indicate whether I preferred a DLC or a new game to get this stuff because it doesn't matter where they come from. francky123 hasn't expressed a preference either, and seems to have implicitly assumed the only way to get such gameplay changes would be through a new game. True or not, the suggestions are what matter, not how they get implemented.
