Hi, I'm having problems installing this game via Gamersgate install. Everything appears to be ok until the very end of the install when this message appears 'An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem'. I have downloaded lots of games without any problem before and after this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still get same message. Could someone please help me to resolve this problem as I'm not that brilliant at messing about with my PC and at age 64 I don't want to mess about through lack of understanding? Thank-you

Hi and welcome to the forums.
A couple of things you need to do to get help on the forum.
1) Complete the forum registration by clicking the link in the e-mail we sent you. (That is why the title under your name displays what it does.)
2) Near the top of the forum is the "My Games" tab, click on that and register your CK2 game (You can get the code from the Gamersgate site where it lists your games)
3) Navigate to Forums-Paradox Development Studio-CK2-Tech support
4) Post your issue in there.
5) People assisting you will probably need a DxDiag there should be thread stickied at the top of the forum that explains how to provide that.

If you cannot get the results you need there you can log a support ticket at paradox.zendesk.com

It might seam like a long list but it is worth it as CK2 is a great game, and most of these steps will allow you to participate better on the forums regardless of tech support issues.
