Crusader kings II won't start

So basically I downloaded the game, spent $11

I double click my shortcut and nothing happens. The loading thing on my mouse comes up for 1 second then dissapears. I try right clicking the game in Steam and pressing "play game" nothing happens. No black screen, no nothing. Just complete nothingness.....

Also I check on my task manager, everytime I double click my cursader kings or try to run it through steam, it doesn't even pop up in Task Manager meaning it doesn't even run
