No worries if it was, but I know a lot of US people thinking that their nation is the center of the world so I had to answer.
Well, maybe no longer for some, but from the beginning it surely was.
I am relatively sure that, as an official Federal US holiday, Thanksgiving has always been secular, in an agnostic sort of way, even if it was originally proposed as an official national day of prayer and thanks. Might have to double check that.
Do you mean abductions or abdications, because if I get the chance to pass on my titles before kicking the bucket, that'd be pretty sweet.
I'd like both. If I go to war with the same dynasty five times, I would like the option to kidnap the heir, whether to ransom, use as leverage, or brainwash into obedience.

I live in China and while it's not a "holiday" everyone knows what it is and there are all sorts of events and whatnot....it's pretty darn international
Common to Universities and cities with large American populations but not an International Holiday - i.e. things get put on so Americans don't get too home sick.
I live in Singapore (I am Dutch myself) and yes only the Americans do it. Even Christmas is not so important here because Chinese new year is the big thing.
I wonder if it will take longer for me to start the BETA because of the timezone difference

A diplomatic option to ask neighbouring rulers to put a stop to Adventurers would be both historical and interesting.
It would be interesting with a choice to sponsor an adventurer. It would give you a new way of spreading your religion/culture without blobbing, and set up for potential allies down the line.
Indeed. It would be quite entertaining when some guy starts rabblerousing against you in your ally's kingdom, only to be shipped to your doorstep in chains.
Related to these things, it would be nice for landless claimants to gravitate towards your enemies, who are more likely to sponsor any of their adventures for you. They sort of do this already but it's not very noticeable, and they usually seem to just go chill with a random count somewhere.
This DLC sounds all well and good, but I would only consider it if it tweaked a single important part of the game for me: The Court
Basically, I want an easier interface for managing my courtiers, the ability to kick out unwanted members of my court and a sustainable method for managing family members and councilors without having to keep track of a huge and unwieldy list. Perhaps as part of an upgrade I could manage separate households (lists) for raising courtiers for specific traits and talents such as a family dedicated to producing good soldiers. Even if this DLC does half of what i listed I would certainly consider it grounds for returning for another game.
What do you guys think? Do you think the court system could be upgraded or overhauled?

It would also be nice if you could imprison people plotting an adventure againt you while in your own court without incurring tyranny.
Finally I can have a lustful ruler without having him constantly be the creepy father-in-law. Afterall there are other women in the realm that doesn´t happen to be married to ones sons.
