If my oldest sons (or daughters in the case of absolute cognatic or no male heirs) are twins. What determines which of them will be the primary heir who i will play as and who will inherit the kingdom?
Is it like the one who is first in the list of children?

You got it-- first born of the twins (one always comes out first, after all) is the earlier in your list of children and will be primary.

Can I end up at war with my liege when I declare on their ally? I started as Robert Capet, Count of Bourbon in the 769 start and managed to get my grandson claims on all the Karling kingdoms, and now I'm ready to press them.

Hey, I just noticed I am currently in 1252 (game started in 1204) and still no Mongol Horde to be seen. Is it possible that they arrive that late ? Are there any known bug of that kind ? I don't remember having seen any "rumours of the steppes" event around 1215, but may have forgotten about it.
There is a slight chance of them never showing up.

How do i destroy a vassal mercheant republic, i cant grant independence because they are a de jure catholic vassal. I cant revoke titles for whatever reason, and if i atleast coult revoke his vassal from him to get the non de jure county away from his duchy i would maybe even go with it and keep him, but i cant because that vassal is a patrician, atleast i think thats the reason. So how do i destroy the mercheant republic? I dont want it there, i want to create a new one in Scotland, and i really dont want them to have land de jure of another duchy and de jure of England while they are de jure Wales.

You can do it if you have a reason to revoke. Make him rebel or get a claim.

If I grant a barony in my capital county independence... will I get a de jure CB on them after a while?

It is called a "county claim" but yes, you should have it against any stray baronies under your counties.

I can revoke a republic title with a claim or if he revolted? Thanks yet again Tom.
Can you fabricate claims on your own vassals?
That should be the case, though I have not tried in some time. And yes, you can fabricate claims on vassals. The rules for the chancellor are the same as always but rules for plotting are slightly different.

How do I get control over the other cities in Venezia as the Doge? I play Ironman now, so I cannot play a different religion and just grant them independence and conquer them back... also cannot revoke in a Republic without a cause, also cannot imprison in a Republich without a cause... mhmm... I guess I could swear fealty to BYZ, convert to Orthodox and do it that way? But are there any other options?

Those are all good options. Also try the Way of Life intrigue focus with "Spy On " for another chance to declare them traitor. Finally, if they plot against you, you can leverage that as well.

I waged war against the HRE to depose his antipope, i won, but the antipope is still here, he didnt even change to some other antipope or became my antipope or something which would have been kinda acceptable. Atleast i got some useless prestige and piety...
So any reason it didnt work? Atleast christianity got some MA, i think...
If i would have known it wouldnt work i would have left them alone so they could beat up the Umayyads more, they are sadly the only christian close enough and strong enough to beat them, i personaly dont have a CB.

I was Duke of Modena when I declared my independence from the Kingdom of Lombardy. Back then, my succession laws were agnatic-cognaticand elective monarchy. After the war, I created the Kingdom of Modena. I thought that my new kingdom would have the same succession laws that I had before but they actually changed to agnatic gavelkind. Let's say that this is not an ideal situation since my ruler is already 58 years old, has five sons and I need to wait for another 10 years to change the laws...

Could somebody please explain why the succession laws had changed when I created my kingdom?

WAD or not, elective reverts to gavelkind. Primogeniture would not (for example)

It was a known bug but I thought the last patch had fixed it (see https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...not-for-problem-reports-checksum-fmno.849647/)
