What's the requirement for being able to plot to revoke a county that's not in your capital duchy again? I keep forgetting. As Wales, I have:

An ambitious Anglo-Saxon count of Chester and Lancaster (both duchy of Lancaster) I would like to get rid of (he's magically running Primo rather than Gavelkind too, cheaty bastard), can't plot againt him. He later inherited Bedford (duchy of Essex), and I still have no available plots.
I also have a count of Leinster (kingdom of Ireland, obviously) that randomly inherited the county of Kärnten (kingdom of Bavaria), and I can plot to revoke that (but have no intention to, it's so remote, I will lose it to rebels or Karlings eventually, who cares?). Do counties really have to be in a different kingdom (or even empire?) to do that?

I have problem. I'm king of Ruthenia and I'm orthodox. My dynasty member and my ally is Emperor of Byzantium. He is also orthodox. Sunni Caliph decided that it is time to Jihad against Byzantium. I don't like this and that's why I decide to go help my ally. But when I go to diplomacy screen I don't see the button to offer to join war so I can't help my ally.
Why there isn't offer to join war even though every time before there has been it?

Does religious authority produces positive\negative modifiers within kingdoms and empires?

I my current Byzantium game, I won most of the Holy Wars against Sunni, the Arabian Sultan declared Jihad on me and lost. My religious authority is 100% and I control all five sacred sites.

After that, Arabian Empires seem to be in never ending civil wars, they split into several smaller kingdoms and empires. Constant rebellions against Sultan. That is the one reason why even managed to take control of all five sacred sites, because I took advantage of rebellions and declared war on rebellious leaders that controlled Jerusalem and Alexandria.

How do I vassalize a holy order? I've found quite a few guides but all of them require inviting a person to court and none of the claimants wants to accept my invitation. Is there any other way or what else can I do? Damn immortals are holding few baronies and are preventing me from becoming the Sayoshant.

Yes we were allies in another war. And no I haven't never refused call to arms and I haven't never asked Byzantine war.

You can only engage in 1 war with your ally at a time. It's kind of a dumb game mechanic. You need to finish your other war quickly before you'll be able to join the holy war.

Give them a duchy inside your de jure territory and diplomatically vassalize them.

Is there a way go get a holy order back after I expelled them? I don't care if it is vassalisation or any other shenanigans, I just want to be able to hire them again.

Playing a vanilla, 1066 start as the duke of the independent duchy of Barcelona. I married the sister of the king of neighboring Castille, figuring I could use their help against the Sunni forces to the south. She is also countess of Zamora. We have two sons, and I'm looking for betrothal prospects for them when they are teenagers when I suddenly realize that I am not their liege, my wife is their liege.

I've survived my wife, my oldest son (my heir) is now duke of Zamora, but his liege is now the current king of Castille. Once I die, it looks like Barcelona will get swallowed up as a duchy of the kingdom of Castille, and I will be playing as the duke with the Castille king as my liege.

Any idea why my sons took my wife as their liege and not me? My marriage to her was a normal marriage, not a matrilineal one.

It's because you were both landed and she was the one that gave birth to them.

I just read that CKII has regnal numbers for its rulers. But I actually can't recall ever seeing it being used. No Henry I or Henry II's at all. Was it removed or am I just overlooking it?

… No, they haven't been taken out. The only people who won't get regnal numbers are:

baron and count-level characters
characters who are "the first" before there is a "the second". (eg. in England: William II - Henry I - Stephen - Henry II)

Haven't played in a while but recently I decided to play as an Orthodox pagan from the ToG start date. The game is up to date and I have all the available DLC, but now when I wanted to try to send my Ecclesiarch to nearby pagan realms it's not possible. I click proselytize as usual, but only my own territory is highlighted and trying to click the capital of a pagan noble yields no results. Has anyting changed recently concerning the conversion of pagans? Why can't I send missionaries? The year is currently 899, so has a limit been introduced for when you can start sending missionaries, or is it the fact that I'm only a duke sworn to a king and that I have to be independent to have option?

You need overseas territories. So if you are in Europe you would need some holding/vassal in the British Isles/Africa/Middle East.

I read from wiki about Mongols that they have a chance to convert to any of the four main religions.
My question: Is there anything that determines which they choose if they convert? Is there something that can make one of the main religions more possible to
become religion of Mongols? I ask this because soon I will face the Mongols and I would like to get them converted as Orthodox because I am also Orthodox.

What decides which are the primary/accepted cultures in CK2 - EU4 conversion? If I have a Danish Scandinavian emperor, will Finnish be an accepted culture?

Primary cultures are decided by the culture of your ruler. Culture groups (in the case of Danish: Scandinavian) remain the same from base EU4. And as far as I know, accepted cultures are decided in the typical EU4 manner: 20% of your base tax = accepted. 10% of your base tax = lose previous accepted.
