I'm King of England. There's a bishop in my realm, who holds a single Cathedral barony and is vassal of one of my Earls. He's not in my dynasty.
This bishop has a claim on the Duchy of Lothian, in Scotland. I'm not king of Scotland and have no de jure claim over that duchy. What happens if I press it on his behalf?
1. The tooltip suggests I will not receive the Duchy of Lothian, because I don't have a de jure claim over it and he's not in my dynasty. But he is already my vassal (or vassal-of-vassal, technically). So what happens - if he becomes Duke will he be my vassal, or the king of Scotland's vassal?
2. He's currently a bishop. If he gains the duchy, will that automatically convert it into a Prince-Archbishopric, or will he instead become a secular ruler?
You can't educate your own children anymore? When did that happen?
guise, pls rspndAre adventures disabled if I deactivate the Old Gods DLC?
No... you can...
I'll assume you aren't making some mistake (i.e. your character is in prison or already has two wards or some such) and assume it might be a bug:
There have been a few bugs in recent patches related to this, so depending on what version (or beta version) you are playing, you could be seeing one of those. The most common I recall was that if you were a councilor for your liege and were in his court, you would be unable to assign yourself as guardian. The easy fix was to resign your position, assign yourself, and then let yourself be reappointed later.

(Your stewardship + spouse stewartship/2)*0.15Can someone explain how Legalism works? Even when I've got ranks in the technology, the amount of holdings I can safely hold seems to fluctuate. At one point I could hold 5, but that seemed to drop to 3 with the same leader, and without Stewardship dropping either.

If you declare war on someone, who calls in his ally, can you make a seperate peace with said ally, or does only the original CB count?
So I've invited a title claimant to my court (Good traits, generally positive opinion, 10/10 would vassal) but I notice I can't actually press his claim. I was hoping to use this guy as a intermediary to avoid having to wait for claims to be fabricated. If something...amiss...should happen to the Gluttonous, Craven Kinslayer that presently holds the title (294% Plot Possibility...woof), would I then be able to press my latest courtier's claim?
