Can a faction still promote you as a king without your consent?

Yes, you can get a letter one day saying telling you that the vassals have revolted to place you on the throne. Happened when I was playing a Byzantine vassal with an English claim. I'm sure the emperor was happy when I brought that to the Byzantines.

Also, as I've never as a muslim, could someone explain me in simple terms what decadence means and how it works?

Decadence is a system created by Paradox to punish sinners.

# But in reality it is a system muslims have to represent a decadent lifestyle, full of luxury and self-spending. Relatives with a decadent trait add to decadence, and you can tell them not to. Some Councillor jobs can also reduce it. If it gets to high, a horde will come in and topple your kingdom.

Not sure if this is a bug, or if I'm just missing something. Trying to become Sanrat of India. That requires I control all Kingdoms, which I do, but even though thats the case, the decision still says I'm missing one, Kamarupa, the one in the upper right corner.

When do you get the "betrothed can marry" pop-up for Muslims? I have been betrothed to my future wife #2 since she was 14. She's 17 now and I haven't gotten the message about being able to marry.

Should your heir change when you change your primary title? I'm playing as King of Galicia, agnatic-cognatic primogeniture, kingdom inherited from mother who married a distant Jimena cousin. I created the title Kingdom of Portugal and made it my primary title, and now my heir is my father, and on my death my sister gets the Kingdom of Galicia plus two Galician counties, and I get a title loss on succession icon.

Is this WAD? Seems really odd to me.

I have noticed that when you create a new kingdom, the succession laws are often different. Check the laws in the kingdom of portugal.

ok, changed that, converted. Why isnt the samrat chakravin not in the intrigue tab? dont tell me you need to be indian for it....

You need to be from indian religion. You also need to have one of the indian empires to be your primary title or you need to be a king level ruler whose main title is from one of the de jure indian empires. You can't be emperor of Persia for example to get the decision.

You don't have to be Christian

Code:
		# Creation/usurpation trigger
		allow = {
			hidden_tooltip = {
				OR = {
					ai = no
					religion_group = christian
				}
			}
		}

unless you're playing a different version to me (that code is from 2.1.5.6). Which patch are you on?

Im running the beta patch. Come to think of it, Im also running the HIP mod. Not sure if that has something to do with it. But Im pretty sure even in vanilla you have to be a certain religion sometimes to form a kingdom.

Virtually all the religious and cultural requirements were removed in a recent patch, back in 2.0. Except for (IIRC) k_jerusalem.

Please state when asking if you are using a mod, since as far as I can tell HIP changes virtually everything about the game.

Hey,

I've got a problem. Children of my courtiers aren't getting guardians assigned to them automatically when they reach the age of six. Is this from the new patch or is it a bug? How to fix it?

Thanks!

Never seen this before...any reason why the Feast option would not be available. It's been this way for years. There's no reason why I can't hold a feast and I know why you can't. The issue is I don't even see the option.

Hi! Question : The empire has low crown authority. And me, as a king, can't change my kingdom's crown authority. Although I see other kings around me, in the same empire, change their crown authority to absolute. In my kingdom laws panel, I don't see the option to change crown authority... There are only the six lines for levies and taxes.

Why can other kings change their authority and not me?
