The AI can't create many of them due to cultural/religious restrictions; creating titles and keeping them gives opinion penalties for "desires Duchy of x" and the like. Also, creating kingdom and empire titles prevents de jure drift into your primary kingdom/empire.

QUICK QUESTION ABOUT WEAK CLAIMS: So I never mess with these. I'm playing as the Hashimid's in Arabia. At some point the Caliph attacked and invaded Mecca and Medina. My old Sultan, Sayyid (I'm not sure if it was him or his father on the throne when they lost Medina), had a strong claim on the two counties/sheikdoms and the duchy/emirate, but he died before I got a chance to press it. Now his son, Hussein, is sultan and he inherited a weak claim from his father that cannot be inherited unless pressed in war.

HERE'S THE QUESTION: I know you can only press a weak claim if the title's already being disputed or if there's a regency (no chance of female ruler in the Arab world). Given that this is a duchy that's part of a large realm (an empire really) does this requirement refer to the actual duke(the emir of Medina) or to his liege, the Caliph. If there was a civil war to replace the Caliph can I press my claim then? or can I only do it if the Emir of Medina is a minor or something?

Which event is it ( got event Id number ?) and why do they spawn in Persia and why so many at the same time ???

Please reveal the event to me. I'm curious.

Its Event 3476 and its ment to happen to muslims so thats why they appear in Persia and other muslim parts. They should be automaticly be imprisoned but they of course might get freed or ransomed by someone.

Why, in the De-Jure Kingdoms mapmode I see territory that if you hover over it says "Being Incorporated into Xxx country #/100 years" but as the HRE I see nothing equivalent? I also see nothing in the De-Jure Empires map... so does the incorporation thing apply only to Kingdoms?

You need to own the whole kingdom for it to start drift if you are an emperor. So you need all baronies and counties inside your own realm. Kings need the whole duchy to get it to drift and the drift only happens with the highest title you have. So if you are an emperor and have a king title the duchies will not drift to the kingdom title but the kingdoms will drift to the empire.

I see the De-Jure mapmode. So I intend to inherit a duchy that has lands in both England and France. England has High and France has Limited crown authority. Do I only get counties in the French territories?

You can see if you inherite the english counties by hovering your mouse over the coat of arms of the counties in question on the character page of the holder it will list the three inheritors in line to inherite.

You can press the weak claim when the emir title is contested in any war, when the emir has a regency or you would be the second or third in line to inherite the title. You could with female ruler too but as you said you are a muslim that will not be possible. The tittle holder is always the one that the weak claims requirements are checked against not his liege.

… I may have missed something from your post, but there is no way you can inherit both parts, since you can only inherit lands from one person. To inherit both would require either the holder of the duchy to be vassal of both the king of England and the king of France (which is impossible in CK2) or for you to have arranged two separate inheritances, from the duke (under whichever king) and a count holding the remaining part of the duchy under the other.

Check the holder of the duchy, and make sure that the order of inheritance includes you/your heir, to make sure High CA isn't messing with things. Look at the land he holds (by using Direct Vassals mapmode). That's what you'll inherit.

A few questions...

Does becoming Martial for a liege that I plan to declare independence against have any effect on the success of my revolt?

Will I gain independence by backing someone else's faction? Not sure if winning would leave me with the guy I just helped as my liege or if I'd be on my own or still with the old liege.

Thanks

Apart from meaning that your liege probably doesn't have anyone with more MIL than you, I don't see any way it affects your revolt.

Yes you will. Both of you will be independent of the former liege and of eachother.

I'm currently Emperor-level, and my son, and heir has a weak claim on the Kingdom of Bihar. If I were to press my son's claim via war, would that bring the Kingdom of Bihar into my Empire with my son as King? Or would it split off with my son as King? I've got Primogeniture succession if it matters any.

Pressing claims of family members will make them your vassals (if the title allows it).

So, I'm currently having a problem with CK2 crashing while trying to convert, I read this is because of the new vassal revolt system, so is there any way to end all the revolts?

I don't have SoI or RoI so switching to the characters and surrendering isn't an option.

EDIT: Never mind, I fixed it by changing their religion before switching into them.

If i use any console commands will my score at the end of the game always be 0 or is it only certain ones i should avoid using?

Mostly I like to give me guy good traits and set his age down to 16 when I start. I know that's cheating but i'd still like to have an idea of how well my overpowered guy did lol

I have just become the Petty King of Lanister, with three counties to my name but a Demense size of only two.

I have three sons and have opted for Elective Succession. As the only Duke under myself, I get the sole vote. I've opted for my second son, who has super high diplomacy skills and good traits, to succeed me. My youngest is high in Intrigue but also Content (So he's basically Spymaster For Life). My eldest is a Envious, Greedy Amaeturish Plotter with high Martial Ability (Yeah, I'm not sure how he got that either) whose current ambition is getting a Title.

My question here is if I grant him...say the County of Osmond, will he become independent or still part of my Petty Kingdom? Also what effects would having a too large demense have for my heir when he inherits?

The Norse are crawling all over Ireland right now, and I really don't want to break up this party when I've finally gotten the general strength to start beating them back.

If you grant your son a county while you're a duke, he will become your vassal.

The main penalties with an overly large demesne are a tax penalty and a penalty to relations with vassals. They don't matter too much when you're small, but to an Emperor they can make big difference.

So, I'm Republic of Italy. HRE has an internal revolt for claim to the empire. The claimant has no claims on my land. If I join this revolt why do I become a vassal of the victor when the war ends? I'm not dejure of the empire or any of its kingdoms.

You only get o score for your first character while he's still alive. Score is only calculated after the death of the first character.
