There are a few scattered provinces that only have a single barony slot (the county capital itself) so the bottom will always look blank. One I can think of off the top of my head is Kola and there are a couple others in Scandinavia. As far as I know there is no mechanic for adding additional holding slots in the game. If that isn't what you are talking about then please list the province name/location where you're seeing something odd.

In Hungary, or at least what will become Hungary, is the province of Boloton. Sometime after the Magyars invade it becomes the Province of Pecs. For at least the first 100-200 years from the game start, nothing happens if you click on the province. No screen with the province info pops up, even though neighboring provinces will act normally. At some point later in the game, it becomes a "normal" province and it will have holdings there and has the ability to build new ones there.
I'm playing now a ERE campaign and i'm torn betwen educating my sons in martial or diplomacy..Question to more history savy folks here,there where many byzantium emperors personaly taking part in battles?Or the majority where chilling in Constantinopol?![]()

I usurped the Arabian Empire (as Britannia) then destroyed it. Why the (''full') kingdoms of the Empire don't drift toward Britannia ?

can someone clear out the mystery of base attributes a bit?
Each character has base attributes which are then impacted by their traits - the total is shown on the character screen with the base visible on mouseover.
Is there some kind of demesne handicap for owning more than 30 units within your two duchies? (castles, cities and churches) Someone mentioned something like that when referring to technology spread.
