Wanted to ask, if I invite the 2nd prince of england over to my court (he has a claim on the whole of england) and i marry him matrilineally to my daughter, will the children of that union possess the claim to england as well? I suppose strong claims can be inherited even in matrilineal marriages?
Also, is there no way at all for you to give landed titles to females? I have this female courtier with a claim on a duchy, but if i can't vassalize her its pointless anyway.
1) Hover over the claim. If it's inheritable, then his children of any marriage will inherit. Strong claims will, of course, pass to weak claims on inheritance.
2) True Cognatic kingdoms (usually Basque) can hand out titles to females. Cathar kingdoms as well. I can't remember for sure, but I think Messalians are now flagged with the "is_feminist" characteristic as well. There's also a sketchy work-around where if you can get a male character with the female character as his next heir, you can ... you know, give it to him and then kill him.
