How exactly does Enatic succession via pagan reformation interact with Merchant Republics?
Doens't seem to expire, rather gets removed by event and nothing after.
I used Notepad++ , searched the event folder with "search in files" for hard_diet.
I found it twice.
Searching the common folder only gave me the modifier.
It tends to break Merchant Republics, pretty hard. Men are the only ones who count for trade posts, regardless of the agnatic/cognatic issue. It also doesn't have a proper "status of men" law which allows for Male councilors, and you don't get the event for a "scandalous councilor" with enatic clans. There's a few other buggy things I'm forgetting, but still.Wait, what does it break? Enatic has been in the game (as a mod option) for quite a while?
I think being wounded also prevents it. I just lost my achievement run for a Servant No More because the Emperor was assassinated (by me) just after I got wounded and then I died from my wounds. Very sad stuffBeing a eunuch or blind prohibits succession for all greek characters. The Byzantine emperor is further restricted to neither cleft palate nor club-footed. I think maimed traits also prevent inheritance.
I dont think you cant at least I cantCan you hold temples if you pick Temporal leadership when reforming?
I have elective succession as my Inheritance law, but I can’t nominate any of my own children,..
The owner of the province also owns the non-MR trade post, not the one who built it. Learned that the hard way.Who owns non-MR trade posts? Is it the county owner? The one who built them? If it is the one who built them how is the new owner decided upon succession, or land changing owners? What if a foreign power uses a de jure claim on a county with a trade route trade post in it?
Yeah, I just ended up building one. Not really a massive loss though, it gives them more gold which means they will have an easier time going feudal, meaning I don't have to help them later. It also doesn't cost a lot of gold, and I imagine it increases my own income aswell because my own trade posts recieve the trade route value benefit. And later when I'm feudal I'll ofcourse get more in taxes and they can upgrade their holds slightly faster still. The owner of the province also owns the non-MR trade post, not the one who built it. I've given consorts to female elders to placate them sometimes when HF came out. Does your religion allow it? It should work, I think. Is it WAD that you can't offer lowborn men or your own consorts as consorts to other characters?
I'm fairly certain you can offer lowborn women and your own concubines as concubines to other characters.
