How do I get the bishops to like me more then the pope?
I can give them honorary tittles but the opinion boost is not enough.
Money, or piety. Money is easy to come by. Piete usually isn't. Unless you're lower tier, where piety is easy and money isn't.

Set your kingdom to free investiture.
Appoint an Antipope.
Win a holy war and grant the churches to the bishop.
Build a church and grant it to the bishop.
Make the bishop part of your council.
Set your chaplain to campaign in the province their church is in (doesn't work on your chaplain).
Set your diplomat to campaign in the province their church is in.
Give them gifts of money.
Have high piety (+1 opinion per 100 piety, up to a total of +10, I think)
Have bishops of your dynasty (unless you are a kinslayer)
Develop virtues (especially the ones the bishop shares).
Get rid of vices (especially the ones the bishop has opposing virtues of).
Get out of debt to the Jews.
Change the laws so your bishops pay less tax or owe fewer soldiers as levies.
Lower Crown Authority.
Donate money to a holy order.
If they are already at least Duke tier, create a titular duchy and grant it to them. They will destroy it, but still like you more.

Those are about all of the levers you have for making bishops like you more.

I got into CK2 recently, is there a list somewhere with all the Holy Fury Dev Diaries? I'd prefer reading them in order.
Front page of the Wiki has such a list.

I am (... was) a member of a demonic worshipper society as an unreformed Slav. Got the mission for Unholy Impregnation when I was rank 3. I died and the bastard is now 2 years old.

Question is, I read in the wiki that this child can not become The Demon Child because I am not of the Abrahamic or Mazdan religions? If so, what gives? What will this character grow up to do? I'll probably won't be able to keep track of the child anymore because I have a new PC that was not a member of the society.

How do I stop CK2 from automatically updating itself?

Ck2 Steam properties - Updates - Automatic Updates: "Only update this game when i launch it".
So playing the game without Steam won't update it.

Question about losing:
I hold the titles to
- Empire of Britannia
- Kingdom of England
- Kingdom of Ireland.
The heir to Britannia and England is NOT of my dynasty. The heir to Ireland IS of my dynasty.
There is an icon at the top of the screen that warns: "No heir of your dynasty! If your ruler dies now the game will end!"
Is that really true? Why wouldn't I keep playing as the heir to Ireland?

Losing just because Britannia passed out of my dynasty would be pretty frustrating, especially since I have it set up so Britannia is very likely to return to my dynasty in the next generation.

If the Yuan (aka Borjigin) dynasty controls China, and I get enough Grace, can I request an invasion from them to smash up the Mongol Empire (also Borjigin)? Or will the shared dynasty prevent that? Mongol Empire is not a tributary of China in my game, so I know that won't be an issue.

It's PROBABLY not going to give you a game over. I've had it do so to keep once before, and it didn't game over one time, and another time it did. Sorry, it's not a good answer. If your crown law is primo, for example, and you are a female ruler, and you don't get a matrilinear marriage, then yes it can game over you since your line of the dynasty will end. It's dumb, but how it works.
You probablyshould be allowed to do that. China sees neighbors as potential rivals to China if they hold empire titles. I've not encountered such a situation myself though.

Usually when I shut the gates I run out of food. The past 2 times I shut the gates I think I went over 2 years and never had to worry about starvation. I have no clue what I did differently. I tried googling but got nothing. Any ideas?

It's totally random. Sometimes you starve, sometimes you won't. I've had runs of 50 years in seclusion without running out of food.
